We are so glad we chose to do this trip. Youssef was an excellent guide. Compared to other trips offered on trip advisor & trip.com to go to the Atlas Mountains , there was so much more included in this trip. We were able to visit the Argon Oil Woman’s Cooperative where you get to see the Argan oil making process, we then were taken to see some spectacular views, snow capped mountains and amazing landscapes. We experienced a bustling market of one of the local villages and also got to see the remains of Berber homes that were hit after the earthquake in 2006. We also had an extremely cautious/careful driver, we felt very safe with him especially travelling with our 11year old and 8 year old. The hike up the mountain was very good, hard work if you are unfit like me (lol) and was tough for the kiddies, but the end result seeing the waterfall and views were worth it. The hike took roughly 1hr 30mins up and down. (make sure you wear good fitting, sturdy shoes with good grip as some rocks are sharp and slippery and can be treacherous.) Thanks Youssef for an incredible trip, we will definitely recommend you to our friends.
A fantastic tour which gave us a great insight into Moroccan culture. Youssef is a really genuine and knowledgeable guide and with Abdel at the wheel as our driver, they were both fantastic. When my son became ill half way through the tour Youssef could not do enough to help, inclusive of providing a traditional Moroccan Berber remedy and even an offer of a rest stop at his family home. The visit to the Berber village, camel ride and walk to the waterfalls were great and lunch was truly one of the finest, most authentic and tasty meals to pass my lips. My advice.... Keep you tourist spend local and have a fantastic and genuine experience with these guys rather than an overpriced experience that lines the pockets of large tour groups.
Absolutely amazing! Mustapha made the tour, he was knowledgeable, funny & great with the group. You break the ice with everyone on the tour so it’s great even for those who are travelling solo. Clogged my camera roll with photos 😂. Great value for money and an even better experience :)
Our guide was ismail, he was lovely and so accommodating to all. He explained the background of morrocan history and buildings so well. Along with this, he was so helpful, he helped me when trekking to the waterfall even letting me take rests when needed. Me and my husband both enjoyed. The tajinie is amazing, the views are amazing and the whole experience was amazing. Had a lovely day. Would do it again definitely. Ismail is the best guide.
Very enjoyable tour. Visited a traditional souk before travelling up to the atlas mountains and riding a camel. The walk up to the waterfall was lovely, finished off with a tasty meal. Lots of information and the guide Ishmael and driver were very friendly.
The pickup and dropoff was very easy, the tour guides were very kind and accommodating. Our oldest is 12 and the youngest was 3 years old, they enjoyed the tour very much. It was nice taking the tour from someone who is actually from there, whose friends and family are there. Learning from someone who still lives in the Atlas Mountains was great. Two meals were provided, and they were both amazing. The tour stopped by a small shop where many Argan products were for sale, my biggest regret is not buying more.
Excellent day out with guide Ismael and driver Misha. Ismael lives in the area we visited and is very knowledgeable about everything we saw ad did. Lunch was traditional tagine chicken with cous cous. The hike to the falls was through the village and gentle.
Super trek in the mountain Abdul is very nice we were 2 people with reduced mobility and it helped us all along the route very nice breakfast and lunch very hearty. Must do
We had a private tour with Hamza. We were taken everywhere on time and had plenty of time to see everything. In beautiful places we stopped for photos and heard brief information. The food was delicious and all the people in the villages were very welcoming. So we were able to gain an authentic impression and therefore we clearly recommend it.
What a great trip! We had a great day, Hamza looked after us very well and told us a lot of interesting things. The camel riding, the breakfast with Berber women in the argan oil production (where you can buy great but quite expensive products and support the women), the short hike to the waterfall and lunch. It was a successful and varied day, we would always come back. Many thanks to Hamza and the driver!
