Egypt Gift Tours Egyptology Tour Guide will pick you up from Hotel or Nile Cruise in a private air-conditioned car. We will drive you north of Luxor for about one and a half hour; enjoy the scenery, views of the countryside daily life all the way to Dendera.
Arrive at the beautiful Graeco-Roman temple of the goddess Hathor with its massive stone roof, underground passages and the magnificent rare relief of Queen Cleopatra and her son Caesarian. Concentrate with your guide to see the astronomical figures and zodiac signs; which makes this temple one of the most famous temples in Egypt. The original zodiac is now in the Louvre museum.
Later on, you will be transferred back to your Hotel in Luxor.

Egypt Gift Tours provided our family an amazing day at both Dendera and Karnak Temples. We had one day to fill and we asked our tour guide, Hatem, what we needed to see and Dendera did not disappoint. Hatem is extremely knowledgeable and he and our driver, Islam, took great care of us. On the way back to Luxor we talked him into taking us to Karnak Temple and it was well worth the trip. Hatem is a wealth of knowledge and it is obvious he loves his job. This had to be one of the best tours/sites I visited on a three week trip to Egypt. The guide I provided with was very knowledgeable about the site. I really enjoyed the fact that he was able to tell you about the history of the temple in detail and in length. On other tours I had been on, the guides simply pointed to Gods & kings & queens that adorned temple walls rather than give detailed information about the site (like this tour and tour guide did). Also, this one the only temple I visited that gave you access to its crypt and roof. If you have an extra day in Luxor (approximately 1.5 hours away), I would highly recommend this tour and visiting this temple.
Tour was great! Our guide, Ahmed was very informative! We had three other tours while in egypt and he gave us great basic information that no one else did. Would highly recommend! The site was amazing. Completely empty so we were able to get great photos. It's a shame that not many people come to this site.
