The last remaining monument of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World & the largest pyramid in the Giza Plateau. It was built for King Khufu with a height of 147 m. The number of stones used in its construction is more than 2,300,000......Each stone weighs from 2.5 tonnes to 9 tonnes.
This mythical creature's limestone statue was made of one piece of stone carved not built and it takes the facial expressions of king Khafre. It stands at 73 m long, 19 m wide, and 20 m in height. Don't forget to ask your tour guide about how the Sphinx missed its nose??!!!!
It is the place that witnessed the main mummification & purification of the ancient Egyptian rulers & Pharaohs.
It includes a rare collection of 5000 years of art with over 250,000 priceless artifacts including the marvelous collection of treasures of King Tutankhamun including his golden items such as his golden Mask that was enclosed in his tomb for about 3,500 years.

I did one day tour of Cairo and Luxor . Magnificent place and all the more made special by Egypt Tours portal . Mahmoud - who helped with seamless booking and planning Mr Bakr was my guide for Cairo . He suggested light show of Pyramid in evening and next day Tour of Pyramids and Museum. Very knowledgeable and sweet person who explained the history . Day 2 flew to Luxor and was promptly picked by my guide Mrs Gadah . She ensured we got good insights of rich history of valley of Kings , Hatshepsut temple , Karnak temple . The craftsmanship and engineering about 4.5k -3.5k years ago is mind blowing . Our first two days in Cario and we could not have asked for a better tour guide. Not only was Ismail punctual and friendly, putting our needs first but was free to offer advice regarding any of the questions we had, His knowledge and passion for the history of Egypt is to be commended. We had an amazing tour with Mohamed Sobhy. We went to the Egyptian Museum and saw King Tuts mask and Sarcophagus. It was an amazing experience and Mohamed was extremely knowledgeable. There wasn't a single question he couldn't answer for us. My only issue with the tour was that we didn't have a lot of time at the base of the pyramids. But as it is a very packed tour it is understandable. I would recommend the tour to anyone. Mohamed is very kind and accommodating so you can make the tour your own.
We spent a day with Mohamed Sobhy. We were transported to the Old Egyptian Museum, where he guided us through the museum and gave us very valuable insights. He then brought us to a bazaar where they sold jewellery and a workshop where the making of papyrus was explained. Then we went to the Pyramids, where he organised a camel ride for us (not included in the cost, but definitely worth it!). After that we went down to the Pyramids, where he gave us an outline of how they were built. The last stop was the Sphinx. He then brought us to a local restaurant where we enjoyed a mixed grill dish. Mohamed was extremely polite and knowledgeable. He willing answered any questions we had about the history, artifacts, and culture. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and are delighted to recommend him as a guide.
We visited Cairo with Egypt Tours Portal and during our time there we visited the Pyramid of Khufu, the Giza Sphinx, Valley Temple, Saqqara Step Pyramid, the Eygyption Museum, the Hanging Church, and El-Khalili Bazaar. We also added on a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Everywhere we visited was by air-conditioned vehicle and each day was really well organised and coordinated by our guide, Ahmed Elohary, who was so knowledgeable and flexible and helped us to learn so much about the history and stories of these places. At the museums he showed us the most significant relics and explained the reasons behind their significance. We had plenty of free time at each place to relax, have fun and enjoy just being at these places that are so iconic. We had good meals, including at a restaurant specialising in the local dish, koshary, which was terrific. We would definitely recommend Egypt Tours Portal (and thank you Ahmed!)
I wanted to take a moment to share my amazing experience with Emy, my tour guide, and the incredible tour company that organized my trip through Egypt. From start to finish, everything was outstanding. Emy went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience possible. I felt completely safe and secure throughout the entire journey, which made it so much easier to relax and enjoy the sights. My phone's camera wasn’t working well, but Emy kindly used her own phone to take pictures of me and later sent them to me, which was such a thoughtful gesture! She was extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of Egypt, making every stop on the tour fascinating and engaging. Honestly, this was the best tour I’ve ever had. Spent the day guided a guided tour around the Pyramids, Sphinx and Egyptian Museum by Ahmed Elgohary, I couldn’t recommend him anymore!
