this tour was a great opportunity to visit the mosque, which was one of the top experiences on our list when we went to Dubai. However, I give it three stars because the tour in our opinion was too long. I traveled with two friends and we were visiting Dubai for my birthday, and wanted to make sure to see Abu Dhabi. this tour could have been a half-day tour instead of a full day, and I don’t fully blame the operators, but we did not know that. So we didn’t book a half-day tour. We thought there would be more to see in Abu Dhabi, but personally, if you don’t really care for malls, and those types of indoor activities, and you want a more immersive cultural experience, this tour probably isn’t for you. it was convenient because it included hotel drop off and pick up, but it was very odd, because there were clearly other travelers who have booked with a different platform, and they received preferential treatment. For example, this experience that we booked on viator did not offer an option to include lunch. Obviously, we would’ve purchased the included lunch version if it was available. The other tourists on the trip had booked with a different platform and had lunch included, so after we visited the mosque, which took about 2 to 3 hours at the start of the journey after arriving in Abu Dhabi, the tour guide took the other travelers to an included lunch at a really nice hotel. We weren’t even able to pay that day, so the tour guide dropped us off at a random mall nearby for us to eat in the food court. there was one other group that had also booked by similar to us so we all went into the mall together. I didn’t come to Abu Dhabi to see a mall which I can see in America, and it was also extremely confusing because the tour guide left us and it took us a while to find him. We could tell he was frustrated that we were taking up time from the itinerary, but what do you expect when you drop off a bunch of tourists at a public mall parking deck? The rest of the journey, we honestly just wished we could go home, and we contemplated just calling a taxi to take us back to our hotel, instead of staying with the tour bus. After the mosque, and the mall, we went to a couple of other locations, including an open local market and a museum. And a few look out points as well. But eventually we stopped even getting out of the bus because none of the other attractions were very interesting and we were honestly tired. None of the attractions were particularly culturally significant, if you are, for example, very interested in the Ferrari museum, that would be interesting but it’s located inside another mall and we had no desire or interest as americans who can go to a mall any day. I wish this tour had just included the mosque as well as maybe some other more interesting places, but perhaps Abu Dhabi is just pretty small and doesn’t have much to offer outside of the mosque. if it’s your goal to view the mosque and get photos, just book a half day tour, and save time on your trip for other more interesting activities. For example, we did a desert safari. That was definitely our favorite part of the trip.
Viator should not use this company. They had four different groups, who had four different itineraries on the same van. Had to go places that weren’t on our tour. More time at rip off carpet sale than at Ferrari Museum. Can you say scam tour!
1 hour for Ferrari World has no sense, visited 2 shops are pure sales events. What remains as positive is the visit of the mosque (2h) and a reasonable lunch (1H). For this there is no need to buy the tour, do it by yourself!
Dear ZsoltS Thanks for your feedback,,, we will check with the guide how the tour was going .
Guide was great and advised the group very clearly on what was required to enter the Mosque in order to not waste time and how to take advantage of every second we had there. I would highly recommend them

Our tour guide was amazing. she was friendly and knowledgable. Thank you!

Awful! The bus' AC broke down with a temperature of 115 degrees! We were dumped at a mall for about hour and a half while the bus driver went to get another bus. We had a very brief stop at Ferrari Word but a couple of women on the tour went on a shopping spree and we had to wait an extra hour for them! The driver was incredible incompetent as to how to find those women. I've taken many and I mean many tours before where the driver warns you that if you're not on the bus by certain time, that it, the bus leaves you--and they've done it! These were the same two women that had some kind of issue entering the Great Mosque of Abu Dhabi as well, which also slowed us up even more. That took some of our valuable time to enjoy the mosque even more. The only thing that saves this tour is the mosque, hands down. The Great Mosque of Abu Dhabi is a site no one should miss while in the UAE. Abu Dhabi, as a city, is not at all like Dubai. It seems drab and void of charm, except for the mosque. In the end, if you're able to rent a car in Dubai to go see the mosque on your own do it and save some money--and plenty of your valuable time!

My daughter and I had a lovely holiday in Abu Dhabi in March. The weather was perfect and we walked miles around the corniche. There's plenty to do there and lots of shopping options- it was beautiful weather and we walked most places and also used the Red bus tours.

The tour was everything we expected it to be and more! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about the history and culture of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Our first stop was at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque - what an experience it was! The design, the furnishings, the chandeliers, the list just goes on and on! A definite must-see!
We also visited the Abu Dhabi Heritage Village, drove through the city to admire Abu Dhabis glass skyscrapers, the palm-lined Corniche and stopped outside the Emirates Palace hotel to take some pictures. Another highlight of the tour was visiting Ferrari World. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it!

Departure confirmed the day before by phone Punctuality appreciated Well organized by competent guide fluent in English and German Good driver
the architecture of the Mosque is truly a wonder and most grateful to be allowed to visit such a place and was the highlight of the tour. Abu Dhabi is very different from Dubai and very green. Thanks for the Tour Guide for a good day out.
