Itinerary
Open up the tour with an opening scene from the book. Professor Robert Langdon lives in the posh Ritz Paris hotel, and one morning he is awoken by a secret service night visit. It turns out that a man with whom he was meant to have a meeting has been murdered. Admire the hotel façade and learn more about this luxurious place, established in 1898 by Cesar Ritz, welcoming wealthy guests ever since.
Uncover the riddle of the rose line as you pass by the Palais Royal, a gorgeous building near the Louvre Museum. Admire the historic place and dive into its past with your local guide, who knows all things Paris and is a huge Da Vinci Code fan. Be amazed by stunning architecture and a beautiful, tranquil park.
The Palais Royal houses the Comedie-Française, the oldest French theater in Europe, founded in 1680. The theater is also known as the House of Molière. Admire the building and hear more about the Paris meridian, or "rose line," as well as stories about its trials and tribulations in the past.
The largest museum in the world, the Louvre, was brought into the limelight in the book and the movie. It is a murder site, and its famous showpieces hold important pieces of the puzzle the protagonists are trying to unravel. Find the clues together with the characters and trace the signs looking into Leonardo's favorite piece of art, the Mona Lisa, and 1483's Virgin of the Rocks. Follow in the footsteps of Neveu and Langdon, who leave the Louvre and head towards the Champs-Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe, which can be seen from the Arc du Carrousel near the Louvre on a clear day.
Cross the Seine River to head to the Latin Quarter, not far from the Jardin du Luxembourg. Marvel at the historic church of Saint Sulpice, finished in 1777, and hear interesting stories about the filming process. Try to unlock the secret of the Holy Grail by tracing the rose line crossing the church. Actual interior scenes were shot in a studio due to the church’s restrictions. Take the opportunity to try something very local and tasty at one of the cafes nearby and contemplate Saint Sulpice while having your meal.

Jacoppo was so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! He shared lots of fun facts about the DaVinci Code and also wonderful historical stories about Paris as we toured. Even at the end of the tour he helped us with our questions about Metro and transportation and found us a bus back to our hotel. 100% recommend!
Very happy with Tour content & guide set the pace of the walking tour to make it pleasant not rushed. Received good insight to Da Vinci Code & Orher movies filmed in associated sites!!
The guide was amicable and not at all rude, but he just showed up to the hotel and took us walking without saying anything. He showed 4 or 5 places and gave very minimal information. At the end, at the Saint Sulpice church, he wanted to show us around while there was Service! I had to stop him. Overall he was very informal, minimum information shared about historical places, even minimum information about the movie. For example, at Palace Royal, he would just say: "this place is shown when Robert Langdon is running to the Pyramid." The name of the guide was Meherdad.
Our tour guide arrived an hour late. The experience we had from this tour was not worth the money we paid for. It cannot compare to the angels and demons tour we did in Rome with Roberto.
Dear Maria, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We are truly sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations, especially after such a wonderful experience you had in Rome. Our guide did everything possible to minimize the inconvenience and communicated about the delay in advance. We also noted that you kindly left a generous tip for him at the end of the tour, which we sincerely appreciate — it meant a lot to him. That said, we completely understand how even a small disruption can affect the overall flow of a tour, and we are very sorry that you were still disappointed. We are constantly striving to improve, and your feedback helps us do better. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. We would be very happy to arrange tours for you in other cities with our top guides and ensure you have an exceptional experience. Thank you again for your feedback — we truly appreciate it. Warm regards,
Our guide was not very knowledgeable about the topic or, it seemed, the area. Maybe he was new? We didn’t get much from this experience.
This was a very fun tour. Our guide Aliya was very friendly, and gave a wonderful tour of not only the da Vinci code spots, but also the historical background of places along the way as well. She let you set the pace and was very helpful. Also in giving restaurant and activity recommendations afterwards.
Aliya was wonderful, insightful and knowledgeable. She not only highlighted the movie but also the historical significance of the locations we were on. She kept us engaged and interested. Highly recommend her as a guide not just for this tour but for any related to Paris and its history
Very nice guide. Good information and enough time to ask everything that came to my mind. Not only about da-Vinci-code.
Aliya was great! Met us promptly and gave us suggestions about local places to eat and explore! Very personable and fun tour! Loved seeing the cool weather and the sun!
Martina was wonderful! We enjoyed ourselves so much exploring the streets of Paris despite the rain. We appreciated that she adjusted on the fly to change the tour at our request (we had toured the Louvre the day before), do we did 2 different sites.
