Itinerary
Perched high on a hillside with Mount Fuji as its majestic backdrop, Chureito Pagoda is a scene straight out of a Japan dream. Imagine walking up a charming path lined with seasonal beauty—delicate pink sakura in spring, golden-red leaves in autumn, or shimmering snow in winter—until the breathtaking five-story pagoda comes into view. From the top, you’ll witness one of the most famous and Instagram-worthy panoramas in the country: the graceful pagoda perfectly framed with the towering Mount Fuji in the distance. Take your time to snap unforgettable photos, breathe in the crisp mountain air, and soak in the peaceful, almost magical atmosphere. Whether you’re chasing that perfect shot or simply looking to experience Japan’s beauty at its finest, Chureito Pagoda is an absolute must-see that will stay in your heart—and camera roll—forever.
Set along the serene shores of Lake Kawaguchiko, Oishi Park is a paradise for nature lovers and photographers alike. Here, you’ll be greeted by sweeping views of Mount Fuji rising gracefully above the tranquil waters, perfectly framed by vibrant seasonal blooms. In summer, endless rows of purple lavender create a fragrant, postcard-perfect scene; in autumn, fiery red and golden foliage light up the landscape; and in winter, the snow-capped peak adds a magical touch to the crisp, clear air. Stroll along the flower-lined pathways, pause at cozy cafés, or browse charming local shops selling lavender-themed treats and souvenirs. Every step offers a new angle for breathtaking photos, making it one of the most romantic and relaxing spots in the Fuji Five Lakes area. At Oishi Park, you don’t just see Mount Fuji—you feel its quiet beauty surrounding you.
Nestled at the base of Mount Fuji, Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine is a place where history, spirituality, and nature come together. This sacred site, over 1,000 years old, was once the starting point for pilgrims climbing Fuji, and stepping through its towering red torii gate feels like entering another world. You’ll wander along a tranquil path shaded by centuries-old cedar trees, leading to the magnificent main hall with its intricate wooden carvings and serene atmosphere. The shrine grounds exude a timeless charm—perfect for taking in the peaceful surroundings, snapping photos of traditional architecture, and learning about the deep cultural connection between Mount Fuji and Japan’s spiritual heritage. Whether you come for quiet reflection, cultural discovery, or simply to feel the history beneath your feet, Kitaguchi Sengen Shrine offers a soulful pause in your Mount Fuji journey.
Herb Garden Tabinikki in Fuji-Kawaguchiko is a delightful blend of color, fragrance, and stunning mountain views. Perched on a hillside, the garden offers a sweeping panorama of Mount Fuji rising above Lake Kawaguchiko—an unforgettable backdrop for your visit. Stroll through vibrant flower beds that change with the seasons: lavender, roses, and sunflowers in summer; fiery autumn leaves in fall; and cheerful pansies and herbs year-round. The air is filled with the soothing scents of fresh herbs, creating a relaxing, almost spa-like atmosphere. You can browse a charming gift shop with herbal teas, essential oils, and handmade goods, or unwind at the café while sipping lavender-infused drinks and gazing at Fuji’s majestic silhouette. Perfect for couples, families, and anyone seeking a peaceful yet photogenic stop, Herb Garden Tabinikki is where nature’s beauty meets warm Japanese hospitality.
Oshino Hakkai, known as the “Eight Springs of Mount Fuji,” is a charming village where crystal-clear ponds, fed by snowmelt from Fuji, sparkle like jewels. Each pond is so pure you can see right to the bottom, with koi fish gliding gracefully through the water. Strolling along its cobblestone paths, you’ll pass traditional thatched-roof houses, quaint bridges, and shops selling local specialties like crispy sweet potato snacks and fresh wasabi. Seasonal flowers add bursts of color, while Mount Fuji towers in the distance, perfectly reflected in the shimmering ponds on clear days. It’s not just a feast for the eyes—this place is a taste of old Japan, where nature, culture, and tranquility blend seamlessly. Whether you’re snapping postcard-worthy photos, sampling local treats, or simply soaking in the peaceful village atmosphere, Oshino Hakkai offers an unforgettable glimpse into Japan’s timeless beauty.

I found out Tours By Jano on facebook and I inquired about their tour packages. They are really good on replying and they are very accomodating. They let us know every information first and give us some time to makr the descision. Which is I really like as I was really skeptical on booking on facebook as there are lot of scammers these days. We decided to take the Mount Fuji Tour which we've met Christian our tour guide. He is really good and our group bonded with him immedeiately as he is really good of what he do. We really had a great time with him to the point that it felt like he comes with us. That's how good he is on his job. The best part on the tour is we saw the Mount Fuji which makes our bucket list checked! We are included among to the people saw it within 100 days. 🙂 We are really delighted that we took the Mount Fuji Tour by Jano and can't wait to be on Kyoto and Narra Tour next week with Christian as our tour guide. If you are going to Japan and don't want to waste your time on DIY, we really recommend Tours by Jano to anyone that is going to visit Japan.
The tour was on time and fun, and the driver is professional and fun to be with
We really enjoyed the Mt. Fuji tour. Our guide Jhay was very punctual in picking us up from the hotel, so nice and polite, very knowledgeable too. He got a lot of tips and tricks where to get great pictures that’s not too crowded, he even acts as a photographer many times. The van is clean and has more than enough space for our family. There was a little delay due to car trouble in the beginning but they made up for it with extra time at the end and free ice cream from Lake Kawaguchi- which is so good 😊 .. overall experience is 10/10 will recommend to family and friends
Definitely recommended if you want a stress-free experience in Japan. From airport pickup, Rio was able to get us to our hotel safely gave us some suggestions for our trip. Hiro was our tour guide in Osaka and did a great job to make our experience memorable. He also took some outstanding pictures of our trip in Osaka, Nara and Kyoto. Nao was our tour guide and driver to Mount Fuji tour, we all had an excellent time maximizing trip and he was flexible with our schedule. Gotta give a shout out to our other drivers, Darren for helping with our luggage transport and Disneyland land drop off. Above all, it's owner, Jano or Alnair for the impressive management of everything we needed. We can't thank you enough. Overall, Tours by Jano Team made our trip in Japan convenient and remarkable. We'll absolutely have them again on our next visit.
An absolutely superb experience! The team was so accommodating, and the deals were excellent value. Our family thoroughly enjoyed every part of our 3-day tour—we really made the most of it! Thank you so much to Tours by Jano, and to our wonderful guide Daren, for giving us an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience. This dream Tokyo adventure is one we will never forget!
We booked directly via Instagram (toursbyjano). Very pleasant experience from start to finish — booking procedures was straightforward, confirmation and coordination of the tour with operator and driver was very simple yet effective (via Whatsapp). Our tour guide was Jay-at - he was a good tour guide, funny and we enjoyed our easy conversation with him. Will really recommend using this company as they are very professional, good cars and will truly make you holidays a proper experience. We were a group of 4 friends which is good size.
We had an amazing private tour to Mt. Fuji. Christian was polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. The trip was stress-free and smooth as he took us to beautiful viewpoints and shared interesting information about the area and local culture. The itinerary was well planned, but we also appreciated the flexibility to spend extra time at places we most enjoyed. Having a private tour allowed us to enjoy the sights at our own pace. We had a memorable experience from start to finish. We highly recommend Christian for this tour to anyone visiting Japan and looking for a personalized and enjoyable day trip. Thank you for making our visit so special!
We had an amazing experience with Tours by Jano, and our tour guide Jhay was absolutely fantastic. We joined both the Nara/Kyoto tour and the Mt. Fuji tour, and they were some of the highlights of our trip. Jhay was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and local attractions, and he shared information in a way that was both interesting and easy to understand. He was also very friendly, patient, and accommodating throughout the entire experience. From the moment we met him, he made us feel comfortable, and it honestly felt like we had known him for a long time because of how welcoming and personable he was. The tours were well organized, stress-free, and full of memorable moments. Jhay went above and beyond to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves, answering questions, offering helpful recommendations, and ensuring we got the most out of every stop. Thanks to him, our visits to Nara, Kyoto, and Mt. Fuji were not only enjoyable but truly unforgettable. We made great memories and learned so much along the way. We highly recommend Jhay and Tours by Jano to anyone visiting Japan and looking for a fun, informative, and personalized tour experience.
We had a great time, even though it was cloudy. We also loved the cool breeze in the area and enjoyed the visits at Oishi park, Kawaguchi Shrine, Chureito Pagoda and shopping Gotemba Outlet.
