Corinth is also mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles as part of the Paul the Apostle's missionary travels.
The home of King Agamemnon and the Mycenean civilization. Mycenae 'Rich in Gold', the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon, first sung by Homer in his epics, is Greece's most important and richest palatial center of the Late Bronze Age.
