We loved the trip to Chefchaouen! It was a beautiful city and fun to explore. The drive through the mountains from Fes was stunning even with some rain. Our guide, Jaafar, was extremely hospitable and took great care of us. It was great talking with him and learning more about the areas we were visiting. His recommendation to eat at the Twins restaurant was excellent and we enjoyed views of the square while we ate. We loved wandering the alleys and streets of the Medina and discovering all the shops and artisans. The 3 hour drive from Fes to Chefchaouen is worth it as you get to see a lot of the countryside and the mountains. Thank you Touria Tours and Jaafar for a great experience.
Our driver Sufyan was more than just a driver — he was a wonderful guide . He shared great local tips, helped us take amazing photos, and always made sure we were comfortable. His driving was smooth and professional throughout our journey. Five stars without hesitation!
Jafar was a wonderful driver and guide. Very informative and always friendly. We had a wonderful day in Chafchaouen. Definitely worth the visit.
Hello We had a tour last Sunday October 5th to Chefchaouen The blue town is very nice, but a tourist trap to do instagram photos with little more to see or know But please improve the driver and his driving, it was very unsafe, he got a ticket and police stop him a few times, and the car was also doing a weird noise in the back, maybe something mechanical
We had a great day, the guide was perfect. We recommend this tour. Despite 3h30 drive, we did not see the time passed.
We had a private day trip from Fes to Chefchaouen, it took some time to get there but our driver was great. He mentioned any interesting places along the way, explained and gave a bit of backstory. He was also very patient with us and our young kids. The whole experience was amazing and I can recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Chefchaouen!
Jafaar was extremely professional from the start. He texted us in advance to confirm our booking and the agreed upon pickup location and time. When he arrived he gave precise details of his location in front of our hotel. On our way to Chefchaouen from Fez, Jaffar took us through some of the picturesque landscape Morocco has to offer. It is a long drive; however, Jafaar regularly checked in to ensure our comfort and if there were any needs for a break. On the way to Chefchaouen, we stopped at a wonderful roadside coffee/food shop. We enjoyed our coffee on the outdoor patio with an exceptional backdrop of the Moroccan countryside. The shop included a large selection of olive oil, pickled food, and other gifts. My wife and I were able to get some goodies to bring back home. As we came into Chefchaouen, Jafaar stopped to treat us to an amazing view of the valley the village is nestled in. He explained the history of the village and it's iconic blue buildings. When we arrived, he was helpful with recommendations on where to dine for lunch, encouraged us to take our time exploring the village, and relaxed about the return trip. We would just need to text him when we were ready to go back. Lunch at Twins was delicious and extremely reasonable. Shopkeepers in the town were extremely friendly and helpful. Jafaar was patient, friendly, and most of all, prompt. There was never a concern as to when or if he would show. There was never a point where we found ourselves waiting or wondering where he was. Jafaar drove us safely to Chefchaouen and back, entertained us with history and details about Morocco and the places we passed and visited along the way, and left us in comfortable silence when warranted. Long drives with strangers can present a bit of uncertainty in not knowing what to expect. Jafaar was pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. He was extremely hospitable and a pleasure to spend the drive to Chefchaouen chatting with. The next time we're in Fez, we plan to reach out to him for a Moroccan cooking class his mom instructs. Thanks for a wonderful day Jafaar!
I had a great day trip to Chefchaouen with Jaafar as my driver. He provided some great details about the city history on the way. First we stopped at the top to view the city, then he drove to the shopping area near the square and let me out to wander. I did some walking around to take in some of the sights, had lunch and did a little shopping. Jaafar picked me up and headed back to Fez. I highly recommend him for anyone needing a driver.
Day well spent. Jaffar was an excellent driver and was good company to be with. We all had a great time!
A week ago my daughter and I were in the company of Jaafar, an exceptional guide 👌because of his kindness, he was always attentive to our requests and questions. Jaafar knows the history of his country very well and thanks to his culture we have learned a lot about the habits and customs. My daughter and I will never forget this stay thanks to Jaafar and his great team, Omar, Mohamed....etc. A big thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone 💞
