My 8 year old daughter left and said it was the highlight of her trip in Rome (so far). The perfect way to enjoy a bit of downtime - the session was very much tailored to us, we were pretty much hands on all the time and our hosties was just perfect in every way
We arrived at the studio at the appointed time. Upon seeing samples of mosaics, we asked Gaia, the artist-instructor, if we might create a mosaic in lieu of a piece of pottery. What a wonderful opportunity! We chose a pattern to follow, glued it to our little square then got to work! (Gaia had exchanged all the materials she’d set up for pottery with materials needed for making a mosaic.) While we worked, Gaia shared her vast knowledge about this ancient art and its long history. It was truly an afternoon of “creation” which left us feeling quite proud of ourselves, that we stuck it out and completed the mosaic…and learned so much! The experience gave us an even greater appreciation of this art form which requires such focus and precision…and great patience!! (Ha!) It will dry, and we’ll be able to take it home to Florida! Thank you, Gaia, for this unique opportunity!
Denise was absolutely lovely: She spoke a perfect Spanish (as we requested), we made our creation step by step explained in a very clear manner. She made us coffee, laughed with us and shared part of her personal experience. It was a special occasion and I think she made her best.. thank you very much!
A very very good experience and I’d do it again if I came to Rome❤️, The lady who teaches us pottery is very friendly.
The location was a little hard to find, but the experience was great. It was challenging and I enjoyed it. Left me with a very personal memory.
Julia was unreal, me and and my partner hannah enjoyed such a beautiful pottery making session with Julia who was a joy to be around and made the experience unforgettable with her knowledge, skill and friendliness. Would highly recommend for anyone seeking somthing a bit different whilst being in rome.
Hello, thanks for your lovely review. Gioia is an expert in Art. We are really happy you had a wonderful time. All the best and see you again soon, somewhere else in Italy or Europe with us. Cheers, Katja, Gioia & the rest of our team
I took my mother in law and my 4 year old son to this clay making class and it was a blast. Patrick was our teacher and we instantly felt at home and welcome. We were served a delicious tea and taught step by step how to create some fun animals with clay. Patrick went above and beyond with my son encouraging him, making him laugh, and guiding him. My son loves art and since we are traveling have no art supplies, Patrick gave him a few things to take home so he could continue with his art. We are so happy to have made a new friend, and we can't wait to come back and enjoy another class!
Hello there and thank you for the sweet review. We are happy to know that you ladies and your little boy loved our ceramics class. Hope to see you again in the near future. Katja & the Europe4KidsTours team
