Your guide will pick you up from your Cairo or Giza hotel in an air-conditioned car. She was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the historical and cultural significance of every place we visited in a way that was easy to understand and really engaging. I walked away feeling like I actually understood the history, not just saw the sites. For lunch, Amal took us to a famous local koshary place and even showed us how to eat it like a true Egyptian – from mixing the sauces to getting the perfect bite. It was one of the highlights of the day and something I would never have experienced on my own.
