Get ready for some unique views! Our experience will start very close to the Acropolis metro station, and it will take us through some of the narrow-weaving streets of Plaka, the picturesque old neighborhood at the foothill of the Acropolis hill. We will continue our walk towards one of the most panoramic spots in the area, where we will enjoy our second shot with a five stars view. The experience includes fun facts, local perspectives of modern life in Athens, and, of course, local drinks! We will end in the vibrant Monastiraki and Psyrri neighborhoods - that's where all the locals hang out! And yes, we do have recommendations and tips for you :) Perfect for your first night in Athens! The tour did not happen due to the guide canceling. I was given plenty of notice on that day so as to schedule some other tour if I wanted. Will be waiting on the refund
I really enjoyed my time with Irini. She worked with me to reschedule when I couldn't make it originally, kept me safe throughout the walk, told me stories I have never heard before about Athens history, and we had some tasty spirits without it being too intense for me as a solo traveler. It was the perfect night cap for my first night in Athens.
Fun tour with knowledgeable and engaging guide (Eirini). Great way to explore hidden gems in Athens. Eirini took us down narrow streets that opened to amazing views. We are all frequent visitors to Athens and she took us to charming spots that we never would have found on our own. Highly recommend! Wear good walking shoes as some of the paths are steep/slippery.
I enjoyed the walking tour. It was very informative and my tour guide was extremely nice. I really enjoyed the bar we went to and wish we could have stayed a little longer so I could have another drink
