We visit Athens & Cape Sounion as travelers, not as tourists. We get as excited as you to travel, to enjoy history, culture, scenery & photography. If you want to see most of Athens & Sounion have to offer, we suggest to combine both sites in a full day tour. The day starts with convenient pickup from your location and then takes you to the Acropolis Hill, Zeus Temple, Olympic stadium, Parliament & Syndagma Square. Continue via a scenic coastal road to Cape Sounion. Visit Poseidon Temple with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world (on a clear day you can see at least seven islands). You also have the flexibility to explore each attraction independently or add a licensed archaeologist guide (additional cost). The temple was dedicated by the Athenians to Athena Parthenos, is the most magnificent creation of Athenian democracy at the height of its power. It is also the finest monument on the Acropolis hill.

Amazing day! Our driver, Christos, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the whole area, and extremely friendly. We learned quite a bit about day to day life in Athens, and he took us to some great sights during the drive. We cannot recommend him enough. Our only regret is that we had already booked other trips with other companies before arriving. Had we known how fantastic Christos was we would have wanted to book everything solely through him and his company. The day trip is well worth it to see some of the main attractions throughout Athens and the surrounding areas. Plus, his lunch recommendation ended up being one of our favorites restaurants.
