After 1 hour of driving we will make a stop at corinth canal which connects the Aegean with the Adriatic sea and was built in 19th century.You will have the chance to take some stunning pictures and admire the view of this marvel of engineering.

Your journey begins in Ancient Corinth, where the grandeur of the Temple of Apollo and the fascinating archaeological site bring the past to life. Walk through the ruins of one of antiquity's most significant cities, immersing yourself in its rich history and culture. Be sure to visit the archaeological museum, where you'll discover well-preserved artifacts that showcase the rich cultural heritage of this ancient city. It provides a deeper insight into Corinth's historical significance.
You will have the chance to explore the first capital of the modern Greek state. Stroll in the narrow streets with the amazing restaurants, cafes and local products shops. Take a stop at Syntagma ( Constitution) square and admire the 18th and 19th century buildings.Walk in the boulevard of Nafplio port overlooking the Bourtzi fortress which was build to guard the port.
We will visit Akronafplia from outside , a Venecian style fortress and we will stare the breathtaking view of Argolic golf and have a lot of pictures.
It was built by Antonio Gambello, an architect from Bergamo in 1471, although the construction was completed by the engineer Brancaleone. This Fortress was constructed by the Venetians after the departure of Mahmut Pasha in 1473 and equipped with cannons. In 1502, the Venetians changed the fortifications on the southwest side into an independent rampart and erected an artificial mound of boulders to which they attached a chain. The chain was then connected to the city to prevent hostile ships from entering the harbour.

This trip went from Athens with a stop in Ancient Corinth and then to Nafplio. The driver was safe and punctual, and a good communicator. Car was comfortable and the trip was smooth. Would recommend !

Private tour with a wonderful guide/driver, Fotis. It was nice to leave the crowds of Athens for a day to see 2 more accropoli. To see the mountains with snow covered peaks and then to see people in the ocean swimming in the same day is amazing. Nafplio was beautiful and quiet coastal town.

Beautiful sites outside of Athens. The canal is amazing and you can get up close without crowds to the wonderful sites in Nafplio. We were the only people on the tour in the clean and new vehicle. Fotis was able to answer all questions. He was great.
