I signed up for a private guided tour of Al Ain in English. What I received was a driver with very limited English who asked me where I wanted to go once we arrived. He had no idea what to do there. But worst of all, he LITERALLY fell asleep several times while driving. He would drift from side to side in the lane or into the next lane then pop his head up. (Both going and coming) Cars were honking at him. We were afraid, but tried not to show it, because we didn't want to be stranded somewhere either. Scariest and worst excursion we ever had.

During my trip with my mom, we saw sights we wouldn't have seen had we stayed in Dubai. Al Ain is a scenic 1-1.5 hour drive from Dubai with incredible sights. The fort, the mountains, the fresh air which Dubai citizens avail themselves of during their weekends. It is the King's place to relax. The best part of our tour was our tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and willing to work with our schedule. We truly appreciate his kindness and time. We will always remember this beautiful day.
