Once inside, you will be guided through the highlights of the permanent collection, including the unique masterpieces of classical Greek art which once adorned the temples opposite in the Acropolis itself. You will learn about the history of the most important pieces but also their fascinating stories, mythologies and the perspectives of the Ancient Greeks who worshiped at the site. Thoughtfully constructed, on the top level which has a wonderful view to the Parthenon you will also find an impressive spatial reconstruction of its Frieze with original sculptures in place.
