Stop 1 – Hotel Pickup in Cairo or Giza Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel. Sit back in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle as we drive to the Abusir desert.
Arrival at the Stable Meet your friendly guide at the stables near Abusir. After a short safety briefing, your guide will help you select the right horse based on your experience level. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced rider, you’ll be well taken care of. Desert Horse Ride Set off on an exciting ride across the desert sands. Feel the thrill as your horse trots or runs freely, surrounded by sweeping desert landscapes.

Unfortunatelly this was disasterous activity. I have made it clear to the guide I am beginner and I expected him to be by my side to keep an eye on me. I never blame the horse and there are always risks. However the guide speaking good English (he spoke very little) and staying closer to me (instead being far away from me) is what might have prevented my injury from happening. 20 minutes or so away from the stable my horse got spooked and I fell off. Unfortunatelly I crashed with my whole bodyweight on my shoulder on the concrete ground. I fractured my shoulder bone so bad it was cut in 2 halves and required operation. I had to fly home early, spent fortune on private xray in Egypt, early flights home, taxis. I sustained agonising injury and have months of healing and rehab ahead of me. If you are a beginner, please be careful.

Everything went smoothly, driver was right on time and drive us to stables. My horse was really nice Arabic horse Klain. Guide was funny and really friendly. Trip was everything what I wanted
