We hired the service for a route through Morocco and the experience was mixed. Positive points: comfortable and in good condition vehicle, punctuality during the journey and price that seemed appropriate for the contracted service. On the other hand, there were several aspects that were below expectations for a service sold as a tour guide. The route was reversed without prior communication, there was a lack of visibility on the route and we practically did not receive cultural, historical or tourist information from the places visited, making the performance closer to a driver than a guide. There was also an excessive number of stops, including some related to personal matters and logistics with the driver’s own acquaintances during the journey. We had the impression that certain hotel and restaurant choices could be more aligned with the provider’s own benefits than the best customer experience. In addition, some selected hotels had basic infrastructure problems, including water and power shortages. The planning of the roadmap could also have been more efficient, as there were periods of vacancy that could have been exploited with activities, visits or travel better organized. Another concern was the driving of the vehicle at some times, with the use of cell phone while driving, which we considered inadequate in terms of safety. Finally, it is worth noting that the communication before the closing of the sale was excellent and very responsive. However, the delivery during the trip ended up being misaligned with the expectations created in the hiring. In short, for those who are only looking for transportation between destinations, the service can serve well. For those looking for a tour guide experience, with information, detailed planning and more professional follow-up, there is significant room for improvements.

Overall, highly recommend our experience with this company. The trip was well organized and we got to see a lot! Our driver Said was wonderful and made the trip extra special. Without his guidance, the trip would not have been the same. Many of the tour guides were also excellent including Mehdi and Amin. Definitely would choose this trip again if I had to do it over!

I traveled with my two adult sons to Morocco in May. The trip was enjoyable and busy, with some relaxing time. Most of the accommodations were stunning and far surpassed my expectations. Our driver, Said, was a fantastic driver and guide and a very sociable man. Said was incredibly knowledgeable in Moroccan history, could juggle scheduling flawlessly, exuded boundless energy, and was an integral part of our family trip. Could not recommend Said!! The itinerary was a perfect combination of historical sites and the desert. You truly get a feel of how the people live and the diversity of the culture and history. Each day had exciting activities that perfectly fit with each region of the country. They were extremely flexible in adding any activities or sites that interested our family. I haven’t got a bad word to say about any of it. We had the best 8 day journey, made friends for life, and whatever trip we go on next will have to be really special to meet the bar set by this one!

My friend and I traveled to Morocco with Desert trips for 8 days. It was fabulous. The hotels they recommended were spectacular, the driver was outstanding, and the extraordinarily prepared local guides to show us their cities and its monuments. It was organized but flexible and relaxed. We spent a night in the desert and when they billed it as a Luxury Camp, it really was, a magical experience all around.

We spent eight unforgettable days in Morocco, where we had the chance to visit the country’s most famous monuments. This tour operator Desert Trips is one of the best operators we have had. The itinerary ran like clockwork. Each site was impressive, full of history and culture. The guides were brilliant, professional, knowledgeable, and passionate, and they shared very interesting facts about these places, making every visit even more captivating. The hotels provided excellent comfort and quality. The accommodations both at the Riyads and Hotels were excellent, comfort and quality. And all the included breakfasts were delicious. A special mention goes to Said, the driver and guide, who ensured everything went smoothly. His communication throughout the trip was excellent. He was so professional, responded to all our questions with a great attitude and in a timely manner. We highly recommend this trip, which will stay in our hearts forever!!

We enjoyed a most wonderful trip across Morocco in January 2026. Each stop was somehow more spectacular than the last. The coordination was absolute perfection; not one single hiccup! Every guide was seamless. It all came together like magic. The hotels we stayed at were top of the line. Our driver Said was excellent. He took the time to answer my many curious questions during our trip, as I took in the immense beauty of Morocco. As someone who likes cultures. Said definitely was helpful in building a better understanding of Morocco and its beautiful people. Also, I must thank Med for his diligence in getting our trip scheduled on time. I would also like to call out the quality of our stay at Dar Hassan in Merzouga. One of the most beautiful hotels, and the entire staff was incredible. I have never felt hospitality like that before. I'd like to say that this was the trip of a lifetime, but it was so good, I will have to do it again. And when that time comes, I will reach out to DesertTrips and hopefully Said will be there to guide us through another journey.

Med organized a flawless trip with less than three weeks’ notice, communicating quickly via WhatsApp and confirming beautiful riads throughout. We traveled over 1,200 miles across Morocco, from coastal Casablanca and elegant Rabat to blue-washed Chefchaouen, ancient Volubilis, and the imperial cities of Meknes and Fes; through the golden Sahara of Merzouga on camelback, the dramatic Dades Valley, cinematic Ouarzazate and timeless Aït Benhaddou, over the rugged High Atlas Mountains to vibrant Marrakech. Our main driver, Hassan, was exceptional - always on time, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and accommodating. He even welcomed us into his family home in Merzouga and introduced us to his lovely mother. By the end of the trip, Hassan truly felt like family. On our final day, Said drove us to the airport and surprised us with a beautiful gift from his mother - a touching gesture we will always remember. The riads were incredible, the local guides were fantastic, and every detail was thoughtfully handled. What truly stood out was how much the drivers genuinely care about their guests and go out of their way to make you feel welcome in their beautiful country. This was my 60th country visited, and Morocco now easily ranks in my Top 5. Truly flawless organization and an unforgettable journey.

Desert Trips were very organized in communicating and coordinating the airport pick up to drop off, hotel and riyad stays, daily Iterinary, and local guides. Hats off to our driver and now a friend Saiid. He is the icing on the cake and without him this trip would have been another touristy thing but he made it such a memorable time immersing us in the culture and traditions, food places, a peek into the lives of the local people by visiting households, sometimes going off the Iterinary just to make it special, providing fresh cold water and splurging us with olives, fresh fruits, fresh cookies, moroccan wine and fruit juices, fresh cookies and souvenirs. Local guides that he chose were very good. We had a blast and felt like we were at home. Highly recommend Desert trips and Saiid, our friend. Trust Saiid even if its off the Iterinary.

We had done a 2 week trip all over Morocco with Deserttrips.net in Oct 2023 so it was a no brainer when our cruise ship the Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lafy was porting in Casablanca to book with then again for a private tour of Rabat and Casablanca. Our driver Said and our tour guide Nassera were the most wonderful company. They catered our activities to things we had not seen when we visited the last time and we went to the Royal Palace, Chellah archeological area, and the Kasbah in Rabat as well as having lunch along the water, and we saw a number of sights in Casablanca before returning to the ship. If you want someone to take care of you for a day or for weeks, this is your team!
