This was so fun! Francesco made it an unforgettable learning experience! We learned to make cavatelli pasta, polpettone, and a balsamic strawberry dessert.. so good!

Francesco was our expert chef. He guided us through the market and showed us how to shop for fresh ingredients. Then he showed us to a very unique and "secret" apartment with a beautiful kitchen. He guided us through making 3 different dishes, plus a dessert. Everything was simple and fun to make, plus it tasted incredible! This was a one of a kind experience and Francesco was a great host throughout! Would highly recommend!

Roberto was fabulous. We started our day with Roberto meeting us at the local market, introducing himself, asking us questions about ourselves, food allergies and explaining the local market. Our shopping in the market was enjoyable and educational. Roberto explained many of the local grocers, what they offered and how it would add to our cooking experience. From the market, we walked to the “professional kitchen”. The location is absolutely gorgeous, the kitchen was quite comfortable, modern, very clean, well lit and a fantastic inviting atmosphere. After washing our hands and explaining all the items in the menu for that day we started the fun. Very informal, no pressure, lots of great conversation, laughter and genuine fun. We made Cavetelli, gnocchi, ravioli, stuffed meatloaf, potatoes and a strawberry dessert. We learned just how much fun being in a kitchen with an experienced, patient, professional chef can be. After the meal was done cooking Roberto, poured us wine, and served us the quality 5 star meal we created. Many wonderful memories from a day in the kitchen. Next to the coliseum tour this was a great way to spend a day in Rome, learning the food, culture and just having lots of fun. Thank you Roberto for such a wonderful experience.

Which recipe would YOU follow to give confidence to a ‘cook’ who’d probably win Worst Cooks in America?? THIS ONE!!! This cooking class was stellar in every way possible. Head Chef Francesco with his trainee, Emanuel, went out of his way to make my sister and me feel very welcome. We were greeted warmly and began the class with a lovely glass of wine at 10 in the morning…”When in Rome…”!! Unlike many classes with only perfunctory exposure to real recipes, this class featured three different pastas, three different sauces as well as a traditional meat course with potatoes. A delicious dessert provided the perfect dénouement. Chef Francesco worked to create a memory that we will use over and over again in our own kitchens, that will amaze our friends and family. In my case, it will not only amaze them, it will shock them that I haven’t poisoned them!! Thank you, Chef Francesco and assistant Emanuel for making our time in Rome so fun. Without reservation, we recommend this culinary experience!
