Samburu has the most beautiful land scapes within the park and its known for the rich beautiful culture of the Samburu people and interesting livelihood. It is the most unique park situated on the banks of Ewaso Ng'iro river , well known for special 5 that are rearly found on other parks this are the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy zebra, Gerenuk antelope and Somali ostrich, its also home to popular of close to 900 elephants. Large predators such as the lion leopard and cheetah are an important attraction (Kamunyak the famous lioness that adapted a baby oryx is a resident in the reserve) the reserve is in fact one of the better locations in Kenya to spot leopard. Wild dog sightings are also a common attraction to this unique protected area and birdlife is abundant with over 450 recorded species. This is the most quite and less crowded park, a great destination for best unique game drives and the animal species .
