This was an overall nicely planned tour with good drivers and an exceptional tour guide at the Palace of Knossos at Crete. I would have preferred a different island than Santorini, as there wasn’t much to see at the downtown other than souvenir shops.

For the positive aspect, the drivers were always on time and very courteous. For the other aspects and considering the high price: 1. A little more information would have been nice. The website and our ticket said the pick-up from our hotel in Athens on Day 1 was at 8 a.m. But we were advised by the driver to the airport that it was at 6:45 a.m. Good thing that we were ready to go. 2. There should have been some options to upgrade to a higher class on the plane to Heraklion, on the two ferry rides (to Santorini and to Piraeus) and the "boutique" hotels. Frankly, for the price of the "tour," I expected that we would be travelling on a higher class. The seat location on the ferry from Heraklion couldn't have been worse. 3. The only private tour was a three-hour private tour in the Knossos palace and the Museum. The tour guide was good though. 4. We were left to our own in Santorini, with the only option to go on a half day cruise around the island. Some information on other options would have been nice. 5. The hotel in Santorini was not near the center and taxis are hard to come by in the island. 6. I wish there was an earlier ferry (despite the long wait at the crowded port) from Santorini to Piraeus as Day 3 will be over by the time you reach Piraeus.

On 09th May, which was a month before your departure, I personally sent you the itinerary. The itinerary clearly stated the time at which our driver would pick you up from the hotel. Seems you didn't opened and read the itinerary However, we apologize if there was any confusion or misunderstanding regarding the departure time. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the three-hour private tour of Knossos Palace and the Museum with our knowledgeable guide. 2/ We appreciate your positive feedback about the tour guide. Regarding the sunset cruise to Caldera, it is one of the most highlighted activities. Since our tours are customizable, if you had requested alternative activities, we could have arranged them for you. 3/ Regarding the hotel "El Greco" in Santorini, it is situated 300 meters away from the entrance of Fira town. Typically, we haven't received any complaints about this walking distance as it offers a pleasant walk next to Caldera. We booked the hotel one month prior and shared the itinerary with you at that time. However, we didn't receive any feedback or requests for changes from you regarding your trip. If there is anything else we can assist you with or if you have any further suggestions, please do not hesitate to let us know. There was every detail tended to and the tours were well worth the efforts to get to Crete and Santorini. The accommodations selected were excellent and all with whom we came in contact were very happy to help. The communication ahead of time relating to questions of ours or information the tour company needed was efficient and precise. This tour was well worth it.
