Insane value for price

The tour is set up to have many activities along the way with local people so you can get more of an experience of the country. You get 2 included dinners and a hotel room and a room in the desert. Our guide Abdullah is a great driver and we never felt uncomfortable once while with him. He is very knowledgeable and easy to go to, and kind. The desert was a trip of a life time and I’m glad it was with this group of people

Just amazing !!!

After doing many trips across Morocco this one topped them all ! Everything was amazing from start to finish , the group we were in , the guides, the places we visited on route . The Sahara itself was mind blowing beauty, we stayed in the luxury tents which really are luxury . Best nights sleep on the whole trip. Our guide and driver couldn’t do enough for us - you will miss out on something special if you don’t book this ! Once in a lifetime trip , the scenery on route is breathtaking . Love love loved every min of the whole experience. It was my wife’s and sisters birthday and I had emailed with their names, the guides brought a cake out and everyone sang happy birthday which made both of their nights. It did rain which was obviously unexpected but we still got music , entertainment and was such a good night !

Nice destinations, bad guide

The destinations were nice, but the guide was disrespectful towards women, pressured customers into giving reviews, and put in generally low effort. He took aside individuals to make them write reviews before letting us go back in the car. When issues arose, he would disregard discussing with the women and only discuss with the men, and spoke proudly of it. Made generally uncomfortable comments towards specific women. He spoke badly of the other costumers to people in the group.

Fab experience

Wonderful trip into the desert particularly in contrast with the hecticness of Marrakech. We had a wonderful group and made some friends for life. Muha our driver was very friendly, helpful and insightful. Would recommend

Fantastic experience thank you

I did this tour with my 25 year old Son and we both had a fantastic time, he particularly enjoyed the quad biking & sand bording and the music in the camp in the evening. Our guide Iddir was really kind and couldn’t do enough to make our experience really great, the drivers good and professional too. Things you should take note of. The hotel you stay in before desert is basic so don’t expect luxury and the food wasn’t great. Please bring enough cash with you to tip local guides 20-50dirham and your lunches are not included so again expect to pay 100-150dirham also you will need to buy drinks with your dinner. After the camel ride back out of the desert all of day 3 is spent driving back to Marrakech we left the desert at 8am and returned to Marrakech at 7:15pm We stayed in the luxury camp because I wanted my own toilet and shower but the party sounded batter and went on longer in the other camp I was fine with this but my son probably would have preferred the other camp and would have been fine sharing toilets and showers. Also do go out of the camp and sit under the stars that was truly magical!

Amazing experience

The tour was amazing. Our driver/guide Mahmoud was super friendly and explained a lot about the Berbers and we learnt about the gawna music which we like a lot. The desert is an experience you need to do. Riding on the camels is really special and the sky full of stars was amazing. We recommend to take the deluxe version as the bed is the most comfy one in marrocco.

Sahara is to do

The Sahara trip was amazing and was a nice experience, next time it’ll be to stay 2 days in the Sahara camp to make the most of it.

Recommended trip

We booked the luxury stay in the desert. Overall great trip, great guide and driver (Moustafa & Mohammed). Very helpful throughout the trip. The only thing that could be better is the information beforehand, including pickup, drop off, itinerary and information on where we would stay (hotel). Luckily this was clarified by our guide as soon as the trip started. Amazing experience despite the long drive. I can definitely recommend.

Good experience, some things we wish to know before...

Overall experience was really good, we did a good exploration of Morocco and some interesting sightseeing. We learned from the local guides a lot about some places and the culture, and the desert experience (camel ride + camping) was fantastic. There were some things we wish we knew before: There is a guide that went with us on the van whose role was more on the lines of general information and keeping the group and tour under schedule, there were other local guides in some places who provided more specific information about these places (so expect to tip them, and some tip amount will be pre-arranged by the tour guide). In Ait-Ben-Haddou, there was not a lot of useful information from the local regarding how much money the Ksar (town) made with the movies that were made there. The local guide at Tinghir was fantastic and did provide a lot of information. Don’t expect a lot from Fossiles d'Erfoud, as there is just a quick coffee/bathroom stop. The tour will take you to some pre-arranged places to buy souveniers/etc, which prices are not the best. The guide will attempt to prevent you from buying some things (such a scarf for the desert) before going to the store where they want you to buy (they will make a case that is needed, which may be true if there is a lot of wind). In terms of lunch, there are three lunch stops where they take us to a restaurant with a single menu option, so expect to spend around 150 MAD for each meal. Water during the three-day tour is not included. Expect very short time for breakfasts (30 min). Something strange was that the tour guide was privately asking us to provide him a review in a different platform than the one we used to book the tour. He was pushing for it in a coffee stop even sharing internet hotspot to get it done. As a summary, we liked the places we visit and the experiences we had. We did not like the pre-arranged tips, the extra tips needed, and the fix restaurants for lunch.
