It was nice trip. He explained the things but could have been more detail and could have accompanied us till the point we went to.

Tamer was an excellent guide and driver. I saw the most important areas in Alexandria on a day with nice weather thanks to him. I also had a great lunch.

Our guide Ahmed did a really good job. He was the first guide during our stay in Egypt who gave us a handout with the general overview/timeline of Egyptian history (which was really helpful) and his English is really good. Whenever he explained something, it was very clear and structured. He could also answer all of our questions, which showed that he really knew his stuff. I also want to give a shout-out to our amazing driver Mohamed. Egyptian traffic is chaotic/scary but he easily managed to get us everywhere in a safe and comfortable way. He is a very kind and courteous person. The trip was well organized. Timing was perfect and no mistakes were made. During this tour, we visited the catacombs, Pompey's Pillar, the library and the citadel. Afterwards, they took us to an amazing fish restaurant with a wonderful view. Me and my partner were very happy about this trip.

If you're looking to go outside of Cairo, I recommend a day trip to Alexandria. It's a very nice place on the Mediterranean coast with lots of interesting sights to see. Here you can find the library of Alexandria, citadel on the coast, pillar of Pompey, fantastic catacomb site and more. The drive to Alexandria was safe and our guide gave us an informative overview of the sights.

Let's see, how should I start ...upon confirming our pickup via WhatsApp I was immediately bombarded with other tours and their prices. Not one or two but a small list. The guide reached out and gave me the names of the herself and the driver with a pickup time. The company must have terrible communication because they were at the wrong hotel to begin with. The guide, herself, was not great. I've had my fair share of guides across the world and several in Egypt throughout my multiple visits to the county. Information was not always accurate (I'm a historian and know the history very well) and she kept touching--tapping and even slapping-- the statues and frescos for emphasis which killed me to see. It felt like a drill sargent pushing us through sights. Any time my partner tried to stop to take photos while she was talking, she seems it get visibly annoyed. We payed for a private tour but it didn't feel that way. I felt like what we wanted did not matter. Upon leaving the final attraction (the citadel) she point blank asked us how many stars we were going to leave her and what we were going to review. We honestly just wanted to get away at that point but still had a three hour car trip with her...we weren't going to be honest. I was just not going to review and call it a loss. The company and guide herself reached out the following day to ask why I hadn't reviewed yet. I'm on holiday. I don't want to spend time on that while I'm relaxing. For whatever reason that isn't what they want to hear. This experience was awful from beginning to end. The best part was being dropped back off at our hotel, and even then, it didn't quite end because I forgot my hat in the car. Upon realizing it the next day, I reached out to the guide. She said she'd ask the driver...when I didn't hear back I messaged the tour company. I thought that maybe the company could redeem themselves a bit and bring it back (or send it in an Uber as those are very cheap---$6.50 to get from my hotel to the airport an hour away-- but when I asked the company, they offered me their services to the airport. I denied and then they said: "We will see till night Maybe when u go to Airprot He will come on the way to Airprot I will let you know" (which is at 03:25am). They were argumentative and there is nothing redeeming about them. I will never recommend this company to anyone and I suggest you look elsewhere too. We did a different tour with a different company the next day and had a brilliant time.

The church of St. John was incredible as were the catacombs. Our guide Ehab and driver Medo made the journey easy and smooth would highly recommend them. They even scheduled a covid test in the middle of the day to make our flight the next day easy! We used them for an earlier private tour as well and service has been exceptional the entire time. They changed our day around as we asked and the drive was so smooth we slept a couple of hours on the way back ! Ask for Ehab and Medo!
