They never showed up despite many calls from myself and Viator. Horrible experience bringing your kids expecting a pastry tour and waiting for 40 minutes for no one to show up. Zero stars
Terrible, the guide did not show up. Unacceptable communication I could not get in touch with anyone online that could confirm the tour guide was here
The tour of the various patisseries and chocolate shops in the Montmartre district was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Paris. We sampled selections at five different locations, each of which offered a variety of choice options based on personal preference. Our guide was lovely and spoke fluent English and our small group (only 10 people) trekked around Montmartre and we were able to see many of the "must see" sights including Sacre Coeur and the Moulin Rouge. It was a lovely afternoon and very reasonably priced compared to many of the food tours we looked at during the selection process.
NO ONE SHOWED UP for the tour!!! We arrived 20 minutes before (at the correct location) and waited a half hour after the scheduled time. I cannot reach Trip Advisor for a refund!! SO upsetting.
I only gave it a star because it was the only way I could write a comment. The guide never showed up nor was available through phone or email. I even contacted viatour and they could not reach guide.
Guide didn't show up! Didn't cancel ahead of time. Don't waste your time in Paris on tris. Not a happy customer.
After paying $160 to schedule this tour and waiting at the start point for more than 15 minutes, we tried to reach the tour operator by phone and by text message and received no response. They did not show up and have had no way of communicating with them.
The guide never showed up. We arrived early and waited until 15 minutes after the appointed time. We checked back again 10 minutes later. No Viator guide and no communication from anyone. Very disappointing. No one answered the phone when we called the number on the reservation.
All had a great time with Sylvie. Got try to taste various French pastries new to all of us. Visited a few sights as well as the patisseries in the streets of Monmatre. Very full at the end of it and full of sugar, butter and cream.
Delicious! The tour guide also showed us sites along the way. Bonus! She gave us the history and background behind each of the shops we visited. I learned alot!
