The lady in the office was very mean and should not have a job where she's working with the public. She refused to answer our simple question. They don't run the bus to the ziplines during winter, probably because the road gets icy. One car in our group spun out and ended up in incoming traffic. We were given very poor directions, but finally found the ziplines. Once there, the zipline crew was very friendly and professional, otherwise I would give them one star.
Such a wonderful way to be in the nature and have fun at the same time. Spotted a deer on top of a whole bunch of chipmunks and squirrels. All 4 staff members were awesome!!
We had a great time on the Zipline for 44th anniversary. Wonderful tour guide & safety crew kept everyone safe & sound & comfortable.
Alexis was rude to us when we checked in. She's in the wrong business. One star off for Alexis. When driving from their office to the zipline site, starting in November, there can be ice on the roads and you might need chains. One of the three cars driving out spun out and ended up on a snow bank on the wrong side of the road. The guides, Riley and ?, were awesome! Very safety conscious, meticulous, and helpful.
⭐ 1 Star – Very Disappointing Experience We went on an adventure with Action Tours in Big Bear and decided to rent a GoPro from them for $49 (tax included) so we could record the whole experience. What they never told us was that the SD card only holds about 45 minutes of video… even though the tour lasts 3 hours. Because of that, the camera ran out of space before we even really started, and we didn’t get to record the full experience at all. When I called afterward to explain the issue, the staff was extremely rude. They basically said, “You rented a GoPro to get a video, and you got a video,” and refused to take any responsibility. They made it clear they don’t do refunds, even though they never told us about the recording limit in the first place. Overall, the adventure itself is just okay — you get what you pay for, nothing extra. But the unprofessional and rude staff completely ruined it for us. Definitely do NOT recommend renting the GoPro, and honestly the customer service alone makes it hard to recommend Action Tours at all.
This experience was a wonderful way to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. All of the employees were extremely kind and encouraging. They had a great way to support confidence in each and every one of us. Thank you!
Be ready for a fun filled time with the best team! Caroline, JR, Dray(?) Riley and Abe. They were great at explaining what was going to happen and demonstrating the zip. Abe took all our pics. A great experience all the way around!
This was the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had as a travel. Not only did the owner not show up for the appointment, but they use some lame excuse they would not have to come. They were very unprofessional did not show up for the appointment and did not communicate. I would never use this company again and be careful not to pay them in advance because you will not get your money back. We drove nearly 2 hours to get to their office and no one ever showed up.
This was one of the things on my "Bucket List" and I am so happy I chose "Action Zipline Tours" in Big Bear. The setting is absolutely beautiful up in those beautiful mountains with all of the trees and nature around. The employees and tour guides are experienced, helpful and made sure we had fun. It was so AWESOME I am already thinking of when to go back.
So much fun! The family had a great time, overcame some fear and made memories that we'll share forever! The team was PHENOMENAL! I was in awe of how relaxed and professional everyone was. Their demeanor took away any fear and made our kids confident in the experience. Thanks team!
