We will get you away from the crowds so that you can experience the solitude and beauty that is expected when traveling to Zion. Learn the geological history of the area and how Zion was formed as well as the human history of the area's inhabitants including the native people and the pioneers who settled here. After you ride the park's shuttle and experience Zion from within the canyon on your own, come with us to get a whole new perspective and view the Park from above. We visit the Kolob Terrace portion of Zion. This area is lesser known and therefore, less visited than the main part of the park. The elevation is higher and the temperature is cooler. The views are amazing and there are never any crowds to deal with. Our tours are 100% private (your group is the only one) and customizable to suit your interests. We can also adjust for physical limitations or change it up to make it more kid-friendly. Our goal is to make your visit here truly unforgettable.

Itinerary
The Kolob Terrace portion of Zion National Park is higher in elevation than the main part of the park. It is not as well known to tourists so it allows you to experience the grandeur of Zion away from the crowds. It gives you a unique opportunity to look down on Zion National Park from above.
Grafton is the most photographed ghost town in the West for a reason, it's beautiful. We will tell you the harrowing story of the people who settled this town. Their story is more interesting than any of the movies filmed here, the most well-known being "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid." If you prefer to do more hiking or viewpoints on Kolob Terrace we may not have time for this stop but this is somewhere you can reach on your own and will give you directions if you decide to go later by yourself.

Pickup Locations & Times
We can arrange pickup for anytime between 10am and 4pm. However, the colors and the views are better in the afternoon when Zion comes out of the shadows. Either message me or I will contact you to schedule a time before your tour date. We will pick up anywhere between Hurricane and Springdale. (Hurricane, LaVerkin, Toquerville, Virgin, Rockville, Springdale) Please note that if you are staying in St. George you will need to drive to one of the cities listed above.

The scenery was beautiful and our tour guides very knowledgeable. Not sure it was worth $200/ea, because we had other tours that we enjoyed more. The views were spectacular!
Candace and Hunter were extremely knowledgeable and were very considerate and kind in accommodating our tour. They showed us everything important and related its significance and importance based upon their extensive knowledge. We wouldn't have changed a thing on this tour.

You will see an off the main road experience. Views and sites that those staying on the main tourist areas would never see. It is amazing. Our guides were knowledgeable in facts about the formations, the history and cultures. Really enjoyed the experience.
Thorough tour of Kolob Terrace. Very touristy part of the park. Candace and Hunter very knowledgable about geology, history, plant life and animals of the area.
We enjoyed our tour with Candace and would definitely recommend it for those looking to see some different views of Zion and some with fewer people. A good experience!
