4:30 AM Early morning pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar by our driver. Transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight to Mikumi National Park.
06:30 AM – Flight from Zanzibar to Mikumi Airstrip Board a short domestic flight from Zanzibar to the nearest airstrip serving Mikumi National Park. Enjoy aerial views of the Indian Ocean and Tanzanian mainland landscapes.
07:30–08:00 AM – Arrival & Safari Guide Meet Arrive at the airstrip where your professional safari guide will be waiting with a 4x4 safari vehicle. Receive a short briefing before entering the park. 08:00 AM – Morning Game Drive Begins Start your adventure inside Mikumi National Park, one of Tanzania’s most accessible wildlife parks. Spot elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and hippos in their natural habitat. 12:30 PM – Bush Lunch / Picnic Break Enjoy a packed lunch or bush picnic inside the park at a safe designated area while surrounded by nature and wildlife sounds. 01:30 PM Continue with an afternoon game drive, visiting different areas of the park and stopping at the hippo pools if conditions allow
03:30 PM – Exit Park & Transfer to Airstrip Begin your journey back toward the airstrip while enjoying final wildlife sightings along the way. 04:30 PM – Flight Back to Zanzibar Board your return flight from Mikumi airstrip back to Zanzibar.

We had booked a tour with an Italian-speaking guide, which was also confirmed after booking by both Getyourguide and Suley Zanz through confirmation messages. At the time of departure, instead of letting us get on a jeep with an Italian-speaking guide, we ended up with another group with an English-speaking guide. We left anyway because they both assured us that they would solve the problem (various messages during the tour). We finished the tour, we didn't understand anything. We were led on for approx. 4 hours with a series of messages with empty promises. Judge for yourselves
