An organized tour would be best, lots of narrow streets that twist and turn. Lots of interesting neighbourhoods to see.

Great Walking City Tour in Zanzibar I had a great experience on the walking city tour in Zanzibar. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained the history of Stone Town very well. We visited important places around Darajani and the old town. I really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar

I really enjoyed the tour with Kassim. He is a funny and well educated guy enjoying to show you the history of his city. Definitely recommend him as a tour guide for Stonetown
I greatly appreciate but the tour was great because the way you paid attention for it.
Jambo! I’ve dreamed of visiting Zanzibar for many years! My dream came true this week, as my husband and I have had an incredible time visiting the island, but the best bit was Stone Town. It’s so much better than every picture or website I’ve seen. Amazing to see the museum dedicated to Freddie Mercury who was born in Zanzibar. We had an opportunity to join a school graduation, visit a very smelly fish market, and basically soak up an incredible part of Africa which exceeded all my expectations! Our Guide Kassim was a gem – so well informed and so kind. Also punctual & so friendly! A must see 😃
I greatly appreciate for adding your unique comment, l couldn't do my best without you. You inspired me to manage this tour. Asante sana.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Kassim as our tour guide in Zanzibar — he was knowledgeable, patient, and kind beyond words. He truly embodies the warm spirit of Zanzibar and made the history of Stonetown and Prison Island come alive for us. If you want to feel welcomed and learn so much at the same time, Kassim is the guide to go with!
