Description
This is our guided walking tour passes through villages and spice plantations, a walk through the farms as spice farms workers climbs trees, seek out specific plants and cuts off various barks, letting you see, feel and taste everything. You will be decorated with palm-leaf accessories such as ties, rings, bracelets and glasses. At the Spice farms you will have an opportunity to taste some of the exotic fruits of Zanzibar. After the tour we will invite you for an opulent traditional Swahili lunch served by locals, here you will get a really taste of the spices in the food. However, this is the best place to buy fresh spices directly from the source. It's advised to do that for supporting the local farmers.

Pickup from your hotel at 9:00am and transfer to Jambo Spice Farm. This is our guided walking tour passes through villages and spice plantations, a walk through the farms as spice farms workers climbs trees, seek out specific plants and cuts off various barks, letting you see, feel and taste everything. You will be decorated with palm-leaf accessories such as ties, rings, bracelets and glasses. At the Spice farms you will have an opportunity to taste some of the exotic fruits of Zanzibar. After the tour we invite you for an opulent traditional Swahili lunch served by locals. Here you will get a really taste of the spices in the food. At the Spice farms is the best place to buy fresh spices directly from the source and support the local farmers. After finishing all the programs, it's time for the transfer back to your hotel.

The first day with Motours we went to the spicefarm. Very good guide and an amazing lunch with Lots of food and after the lunch we tasted all the fruits. We have learned a lot about spices. After this visit we went to Stonetown. With Motours you can make your own tour what you want. It is always private and we booked it at home from the Netherlands. Good prices!!

Very interesting excursion that is worth it. We learned very useful information about the plants we encountered and at the end we also got our gifts that were made in front of us. It is worth a visit. Once you finish you can buy spices and perfumes at the exit.

The spice tour offered by MO is more interesting. He took us to the spice farm and we learned a lot from him about the spices, it's my first time to visit the spice farm where the smell of cloves exists. I highly recommend this tour.

Without a doubt, they were spectacular days touring the most representative parts of Zanzibar, the small capital Stone Town, Prison Island, a day at the beaches in Safari Blue, a visit to a Spice Farm. Thanks to Mo Tours and the super guides Mohamed Ali, excellent people and guides with a lot of knowledge of the island's history, it was a very fun three-day tour. Zanzibar is a charming island in East Africa, if you plan to visit it, I highly recommend doing it with this agency.
