The place was so nice and interesting. Our guide was great ( Mr Sajidin from www.sjafricatours.com He arranged all needed and we are thankful to him. We recommend him to any one who are planning to visit to this island as well as any others around Zanzibar.
Why you mention him right here instead to his website. This is ours and not belongs to him. Thank you.
Facing off Dolphins like freinds before in the middle of indian ocean. That alone, Prisoners island, with bigger tortoise. Friendly weather, moving ocean- This caught me off guard. Leaving waters allover in the morning, only to find nothing in the afternoon, and its all back in the evening.
Thank you for your support
Definitely a scam. We paid and confirmed our time. We waited 15 minutes. Nobody picked us up or answered. We had to find our own way there.
Sorry, many people organise this trip we never do that, no any reviews like this within our five years of experience. If we cancel the trip we accept refunds the customer. We kindly request you to pull your review down. Thank you
To begin with the guide arrived 1h30 late. I had to do about 1h visit or less... The place is certainly very beautiful but on the ad it said 3 hours visit... Paying 80€ for it, I find it really expensive..
Sorry
It was such a pleasant experience! They organised a driver for us who told us some of the history of Zanzibar on our way into the town and then the tour itself was very good and our guide was very patient with us and took so many photos for us.
Deeply appreciate
Luckmani was great. Very knowledgeable and offered to take photos. As a solo female traveler i had no concerns regarding safety. Great tour
Thank you suzanne for your support
Absolute rubbish and not worth the US$35 cost (boat and entry fees). 10 minute boat ride each way in a dingy, with about 1hr on the island viewing a few broken down ruins, and turtles kept in disgraceful conditions. My guide spent 90% of the time talking on his phone and still expected a tip at the end. Absolute waste!!
We feel sorry for that but this review is not subjective to us.
Really disappointed. The island contains only a small area for giant tortoises that arent monitored or well kept.People passing by often sat on the tortoises breaching animal cruelty laws.It was very sad to see and completely after seeing this outrageous view believe they should be sent back to there natural habit.Apart from the tortoise area there wasn’t much to see the museum and bar are well kept but again very small attractions. The prism does not have any correlation with the island and was disappointed.Dont waste your time on this fraud.
You’ve seen tortoises contained in a same place likely but they enough can move around the island. Additionally no one allowed to seat on them while tourists break rules sometimes. Thank you for your view anyway.
Prison Island the place is wondering about the slave before going to slave market in stone town were keeping in in Prison and choose if the slave have gotten skin deases are not going to slave market in stone
Thanks Tunda
The boat trip was good in a small motor boat. I think the fort and the prison were most interesting and also there were lovely views of the coast, very photogenic. The tortoises and their babies were fascinating, also the peacocks and the general flora and fauna of the island.
Thank you for your feedback have the best day
