Travel in comfort by vehicle or minivan to the traditional fishing villages of Volendam, and stroll through the world-famous windmill village of Zaanse Schans. Visit a cheese factory for a tasting, stop at a restaurant for lunch, watch craftsmen make wooden shoes before relaxing on the ride back to Amsterdam. Additional offer: Luxurious Picknick in the countryside we'll set up a nice picknick on a beautiful spot in the countryside for you to enjoy for an hour. Included: wines, smoked wild salmon, cheeses, fresh juisces, bagettes and sweet spread. The fee for this picknick is 85 euro per person (min 2 persons). We will pick you up when you are finished and ready to go.

In our opinion the best fishing village around. an old fishing village and away from the masses. Former stinky town because of many smokehouses.

In the 18th and 19th centuries, Broek in Waterland was considered a major international tourist attraction. Throughout Europe, the village was known as the "cleanest and wealthiest village in Holland." Foreign travelers marveled at the pastel-colored wooden houses, the immaculate gardens, and the residents' extreme obsession with cleaning. We are going to visit it!

Zaanse Schans Windmills & Volendam Small-Group Tour from Amsterdam was an absolute highlight. Apostolis was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, easygoing, and genuinely passionate about every stop on the tour. He gave us plenty of time to explore the windmills, wander through the fishing village, and soak in the scenery at our own pace. The tour never showed. We stood there waiting. It was so frustrating. We did get reimbursed our money a day or so after. But we had a whole day tour planned and now had nothing.

Lovely countryside, seeing the windmills in action was so cool. Ali was a great tour guide, knowlegable, and he took us to each stop on the tour when crowds were thin. The fishing village Monnickendam was so charming, & Ali found a bakery that made delicious sandwiches, so our lunch was quick & we had more time to walk around the little town. I didn't expect the dairy farm to be interesting, but it was! Glad we stopped there (& yummy cheese!). Also seeing clogs made was facinating. Great tour, highly recommend.
Windmills were great, original design and were still working. The cheese and clog shop I could have done without, but lunch was very good.
