We include lunch, snacks and water on all our full-day tours, so you don’t have to take time out from seeing the sights to wait in line. Our vehicles are impeccably cleaned and rigorously maintained for your comfort and safety. Itinerary is subject to change due to weather or other conditions beyond our control.

Itinerary
Your Yosemite tour includes frequent photo stops and a chance to walk to a waterfall or two. The bus trip itself provides ever-changing views, the chance to explore a little and to learn about the history, geology, flora & fauna of this remarkable park. During your full day Yosemite guided tour, you will experience: Half Dome, El Capitan, *Yosemite Falls, *Bridalveil Fall, *Mariposa Grove, *Glacier Point, Wawona, Royal Arches, Turtleback Dome, Three Brothers, Leaning Tower, *Ribbon Fall, Cathedral Spires, Yosemite Chapel, *Vernal Fall, and *Nevada Fall. *Mariposa Grove, Glacier Point and some waterfalls are seasonal. Due to ever changing conditions in Yosemite the order of itinerary is not set but left up to your guide who will adjust the order of stops to give you the best experience possible and choose a nice spot to enjoy your included picnic lunch. This itinerary is subject to change due to conditions beyond our control.

(If road is open and shuttles are running) Welcome Center and stroll through the Lower Grove of Giant Sequoias. When accessible.
(If open and accessible) Looking down at Yosemite Valley from about 7,000' with views of Vernal and Nevada Falls, Half Dome, Merced River.

Hotel Parking is for Hotel Guests Only Pickup at Bass Lake and Coarsegold locations is *6:40-6:50 AM Pickup at Oakhurst locations is *7:00-7:10 AM Pickup at Fish Camp locations is *7:20-7:30 AM *Exact time will be emailed to you prior to you tour You must be staying at the hotel pickup location you choose. If you are not staying at one of the locations listed, pickup will be at the Oakhurst Library. Please double check that you are staying within reasonable driving distance to the Oakhurst Library. Oakhurst Library 49044 Civic Circle, Oakhurst, CA Meet outside of the lobby or check in office We require the equivalent of 4 Adults for tours to run Some attractions are seasonal and although we plan around what is typical, some areas may not be open when you visit. This includes Mariposa Grove, Glacier Point, and some waterfalls. When this occurs, we make additional stops and spend more time at others. ~~Please note--Seniors must be able to walk up the steps of the bus without assistance from the guide. We can accommodate compact folding walkers and compact folding wheelchairs, but we must know in advance.

Eileen gave us the best experience. We had such a great time. Saw lots of beautiful scenery and got to go to a few extra spots. Our group was so fun and many thanks to Eileen for everything.
Our guide, Phil, was very knowledgeable, and the bus was comfortable. We visited many beautiful viewpoints throughout the park. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the park for the first time!

We were first-time Yosemeti visitors with 3 days to enjoy. This full day immersion was perfect. We saw every major point, and through the eyes and narrative of Chad, who grew up nearby and clearly knows the park's history, geology and just about anything else you want to know. He was terrific. Pick up was specific and ontime. Van comfortable with water and snacks. Thank you for a fabulous experiernce. We went back on our own to the Mariposa Grove for a 7 mile hike. Revisited what we'd seen on the tour and then extended.
This is a great way to spend your first full day in Yosemite. Our guides have great advice on what you can go back and do on your own.
Our tour was the best way to see the highlights of Yosemite in a single day. On our own we would have spent the day finding the sigjts and waiting in traffic. Our driver/guide Grant was very knowledgeable and fun.
We always say "Let Discover Yosemite do the driving!" We love when our guests can just relax and enjoy the park without all the hassle.
Ful day tour of Yosemite in an air conditioned bus with huge picture windows to enjoy the views. Tour guide driver Jarrett was excellent in giving history of Yosemite as well as answering questions of the tourists and drove safely. Tour hit all the major points of interest in the park. A discounted price for locals would be nice especially for seniors who comes with their guest.

It’s a long day. A lot of walking. Stay closer to Yosemite if possible to shorten the day. We had a three hour drive back to our hotel after the tour.
Yes, we definitely suggest staying at one of the hotels on our list of pickups, but we are so glad you joined us and that you had a good time.
I was looking to get my bearings of the Yosemite National Park, Discover Yosemite was the perfect way to do so! Eileen, our tour guide made our experience magical. She was fun and very knowledgeable in the history of the park and recommended the best hikes to make our experience of Yosemite event better. We were able to stop and take in the views from the best locations. We took walks and shared a lunch provided by Discover Yosemite with a great group of people. This was a nice touch - a family feel. I can say the group tour was more than I imagined. It was a wonderful experience if you are looking for the great views and a great education of Yosemite!

Definitely made a wise choice opting for this guided tour rather than navigating Yosemite on our own, especially after hearing about it being more crowded when they did away with the reservation system. It’s a long drive so it was more enjoyable to just sit back and relax and appreciate the view while our tour guide, Chad, provided the background information about what we were seeing and more. It amazes me how much he knows. His wealth of knowledge made for an interesting and educational tour. He even suggested the best places to eat at. We got to try Judy’s doughnuts at Oakhurst. Wholeheartedly agree with him 100%. They are the best!
