Explore the Three Gorges including Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, and Xiling Gorge by a Chinese 5-star boat upstream along the Yangtze River for a 5-day-and-4-night cruise from Yichang to Chongqing with shore excursion, meals, and accommodation included. Kindly note three excursions are included, but the three sites might be changed as per different boat schedule and we will send you the final three excursions before your tour. If it is rainy or dry season, the arrival dock might be Wanzhou Harbour not Chaotianmen Dock, and cruise will arrange bus transfer from Wangzhou Harbour to Chongqing city center.

Our trip was with Victoria Cruises on the Jenna. The quality of the food, service and rooms was excellent. The room had two single beds (maybe a little on the small side) with a balcony, desk and additional seating. Although most people went to dinner as soon as it opened, there was always plenty of food available if you went a little later. Majority of seating was buffet style with lots of choice but you could upgrade which gave you access to a separate (al a carte) restaurant and lounge. A real highlight on our trip through China.

We wanted a slower pace, more relaxing & nostalgic feeling to the final leg of our central China trip. Taking a cruise on the magnificent Yangtze river will be an excellent choice. We decided we will cruise from Yichang to Chongqing on a 5 days/4 nights journey. So, we contacted Yangtze River Cruises and Evelyn Ma assisted in all the Q&A and documentations. Her prompt and diligent efforts made the passage real smooth, relaxing and an enjoyable sailing.

The Gold 5 Yangtze River cruise ship was dreadful. The cabins were dank, mouldy and stank. There are barely any facilities. The sun deck is a joke with no sun loungers only half a dozen rickety tables and a few chairs. The bar area doubles as a cinema so when sailing it isn't possible to sit there and socialise. We upgraded to the VIP restaurant and were glad we did. The food is ok with lots of choices and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We went on some lovely trips which was definitely the best bit as it got us off the boat. There are much nicer boats than this one. Use one of those for this cruise!

Cabins are damp and food not good even though I upgraded Staff however were brilliant, very hard working and polite This was part of a Mercury Holidays tour and they should not be using this standard of ship, it was damp and rusty so much so I had to sleep on a towel and use a second towel as a blanket I was on the Yangtze Gold 5, avoid at all costs

This cruise was amazing. From the first initial greeting on board our entire 4 days was amazing. the staff are courteous and friendly, and so welcoming. Always have lovely smiles and nice manners. the dining facilities were excellent the choice of food to choose from was fantastic. There was plenty on offer. Rooms are tidy, beds comfortable, but if you drink tea take your own teabags and purchase some milk or ask the staff to get some for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our Yangtze River cruise.

This was a once in a lifetime experience. The scenery was fantastic and the crew were very friendly and helpful. Each day we had a different excursion ashore. The food on board was very good and there is a nice top deck bar for enjoying the scenery while cruising.

We took the Yangtze 3 from Yichang to Chongqing. What a terrific 5 day trip - impressive dam, scenic river, mystical gorge, sparkling new ship, and fellow passengers who were truly kind. We two were the only English-speaking passengers on board but the crew made sure that we, and everyone else, had a wonderful trip. Unlike other boat trips, this cruise includes all excursions. One tip: for a more intimate dining experience and bar, book a suite.

Yangtze Gold 8 River Cruise Yichang to Chongqing Johnson was our contact for booking the tour and he did an amazing job (Chengdu Bamboo International Tours). The cruuse was incredible! Amazing scenery and always something thing to do with the extra day tours that are part of the itinerary. I suggest doing the ship lift on the Three Gorges Tour, quite an experience and worth the money. I also strongly suggest you upgrade the meal package and dine in the upstairs dining rooms with small groups and a separate buffet. Much more relaxing. The boat was OK, it felt a little damp and it's time for an upgrade of facilties, but overall excellent value for the money.
We really enjoyed the Cruise on Victoria Sabrina. It’s a very new ship. The rooms were very comfortable, the food was excellent and the crew very friendly and helpful! We were the only west people on the ship and on the ship as well as on the excursions they translated everything in English - just for four persons!
