Wonderlust Desert & Camel Safari with Rumi Caravan of Thar Desert

It was a nice trip including desert safari, dinner, high tea, overnight stay, camp fire, and morning meals inclusive. I had to pay extra for pick up from the city. The team coordinated my pick up and drop well. The whole trip experience was smooth. Our guide was well aware of local food, plants, desert creatures etc. The night campsite was cosy and it was a beautiful experience to sleep under start studded sky. I spotted so many constellations which I don’t get to see in the city due to pollution and too much light. Thankful that I opted for this experience.

A nigh at Thar Desert I did this trip with my spouse, there were 3 more couples clubbed in the tour. I feel the bigger the group and lucky if you get like minded people, it increases the charm. We reached the pick-up point around 2 pm and our jeep safari started around 2:30 pm. The team from Mavin camel safari came to inform us about the trip. It was a 40-45 mins of camel safari in the dunes followed by setting up campfire. We enjoyed evening tea with the beautiful sunset and in no time, we had the star-studded sky to ourselves. It was so charming. We retired under the sky after dinner cooked by our guide. Morning glory was amazing with intact sunrise. After breakfast we left for Jaisalmer. The overall arrangement was nice, simple and safe. Highly recommended.

I did this tour solo with some friends from Canada. I came across Marvin camps from Trip Advisor and saw that the ratings are good. I gave the team my requirement of a raw desert tour and overnight stay. It was a very comfortable and safe trip overall. Best part of this tour was that the arrangements are systematic. I reached at pick point appox. 2:00 pm. I received a warm welcome by friendly guides and then I enjoyed a camel ride for 40-45 minutes in desert. I enjoyed a beautiful sunset, then I enjoyed most delicious dinner around bonfire which feels very refreshing and good. Day end was under the star-studded sky. It was so charming. This tour was never forgetting experience. Highly recommended.

I visited Jaisalmer with my friends. And we planned to stay in the Thar desert overnight. It was something that I wanted to do since a long time. We booked it from Marvin camel safari. The package included overnight stay and other arrangements in the dunes. E.g bedding, tea/coffee, dinner arrangements, drinking water, and next morning breakfast. After the camel ride in the evening. We had tea and snacks in the dunes and witnessed beautiful sunset. Slept in the dunes, it was an amazing experience, I had never done anything like this before. We sang songs sitting at the bon-fire. Woke up to the morning and saw moonset and sunrise at the same time. It was a great experience all together. Thank you Marwin camel safari.

I was picked by the team of Marvin Camel Safari & Day Tours after my Golden fort visit. It was a 50 mins drive to the Thar desert. I received a warm welcome from the Marvin team. After some refreshment we left with a group of 5 people and our guide for camel safari. Had a great camel safari, the camel was nicely maintained. We had a great time in the desert. Cooked meal in the desert which was an amazing experience, bon fire, music and star-studded sky. I woke up so fresh next morning, it was something very different I felt in a long time. Morning was beautiful with an intact sunrise in the desert and after breakfast we left back from the city. It was a seamlessly beautiful experience

My trip was organised by Marvin camps. They did my travel arrangement on request from Jaisalmer to Sam desert I stayed one night in Marwin desert camp. The following evening, I went for desert safari and later watched sunset from the dunes. I was traveling with my family and it was a beautiful experience. The desert safari was around 40 mins and we had an amazing time there. We stayed in the dunes a little longer post sunset. Saw the night sky and moon rise from there. Weather was just right and it was breeze after sunset. I recommend that everyone should once stay under the sky in such vast landscape, it was truly mesmerising. We first went for a nice camel ride in the evening which was around 30-40 mins in the beautiful Thar desert. Sunrise was mesmerising and our guide had arranged high tea set up in the desert. Tea, cookies and small bread cake and the beautiful sunset. The orangish sky became dark and in no time, there were thousands of stars. It was mesmerising. Sand started to cool down in the moon light and we started small camp fire to start dinner preparation with the beautiful view. Our guide cooked simple comfort food for us. Amazing experience in the lap of nature. We retired for the night under the sky and next morning after light breakfast we left after taking all trash with us. It was a beautiful experience everyone must have in their life.
