For wine lovers like us, we were interested to know more about Corfu wine and this winery rich in history is a must visit. Although there were minimal choices of wine the product was exceptional. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable of the local wine. BTW there wine was featured in the film 'For your eyes only'.
Beautiful winery that is relatively small so it’s not full of large tour groups. Prompt, friendly, English speaking hosts. Wines were great. Recommend getting the food which was delicious. Tour doesn’t include transportation so we booked a private transfer from the cruise port. Great way to spend a few hours in Corfu.
Lovely area, lovely guide and the wine was wonderful. Atmosphere was calm and inviting.
This was the best tour we have had! You ABSOLUTELY want to take the time to visit Theotoky! My dad, husband and I were very impressed with the estate, and more impressed with Stephanie our guide. She shared about the wine and olive making process in such an educational and fun way. She made the tour especially wonderful! We reserved the wine and olive oil tasting. You won’t be disappointed. Bread, tomatoes with olives were the light snack. DEFINITELY take the time to visit THEOTOKY ESTATE! Plus, the wine was delicious!
This tour was very interesting and very informative of wines and olives. The guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable.
Tour is perhaps a little too much said. You can see two rooms, the room where the large wine tanks are located, where bottles are also labeled. The storage room for the bottled wines. At the wine tasting there were two white wines, which are certainly not top wines, but drinkable. The olive oil was very good, with a wide range of flavours.
A great experience but you can order directly through the winery. Be sure to order the snacks to go with the wine!
Wonderful, informative tour, very friendly staff, the family has deep, historic roots in the area. Fantastic deal for the price, a meal with well explained wine pairing. Pretty easy to find. The entire estate wreaks of culture and history. I left with wine, and olive oil. All organic, they recycle everything, I was blown away at this hidden bargain.
The wine tasting (2 wines) and olive oil tasting with local products booked . Upon arrival we didn't know where to go and went to wait on the bench in front of the door. Tour started too late and tour of a lady (who left the group 4 times to smoke and encouraged a customer to smoke among the participants of the tasting???) and I had the suspicion that the lady herself had tasted a little too much of the wine. She forgot to pour us the wine (we had to ask for it) and afterwards when we still had to finish our wine, she asked us if we booked the tour because the next tour was going to start ???? So she didn't remember that we had just had the tour from her. The olive oil tasting consists of 1 spoonful of olive oil. This was the least tasting we've had. Too bad!
What a fun and informative tour and tasting! Enjoyed ourselves! Family had a great time! Still talking about it days after the tour/tasting!
