I highly recommend booking this safari! We were 20 minutes later than expected due to a mixup from our taxi. Our driver Pasindu did evertything he could to do the 4h loop in 3h30 and to show us all the animals in the parc we wanted to see. We had to pleasure of seeing a toekan, crocodile, turtles, bizons, bambi's, etc. At the very end of the trip we even had the luck of seeing a leopard closeby. The safari was evertything we hoped for!
We really enjoyed our trip to Wilpattu and were glad we went with a guide. The company was also able to arrange a private transfer to the park for us at our request. At the beginning of the Safari our guide explained that it is not always possible to see a leopard which we appreciated as we entered the day with the right expectation. We got to see a lot of wildlife including a crocodile, bear, mongoose, toucans, buffalo, eagles, monitor lizards and more. We had a wild elephant come up to our jeep within about 5 metres. Our guide was particularly good at spotting/identifying birds and even though our package was supposed to only include water he brought fresh cut fruit and other snacks for us.
Great team. The guides spotted crocodiles, bear, birds, varans and elephants. They stopped when we wanted to take pictures and the my were good company.
Everything was really easy. We decided 1 day before to do a safari and everything worked. The connection with the agency via WhatsApp was relaxed. The driver was really good and the guide was a friendly and helpful guy. Unluckily we saw "just" a lepard for 5sec and some birds... But this is nature 🤷🏽♀️ Would recommend this safari agency!
