WILD LIFE Sydney showcases Australia's unique and bizarre flora and fauna. Take a walk on the wild side and jump into wallaby cliffs with the yellow-footed rock wallabies, or see one of Australia's national icons, the koala. Marvel at Australia's bizarre creepy crawlies or see the scales and tails of our unique reptiles. Allow yourself to be completely immersed within this world class exhibit, where animals will be living within their natural habitats and ecosystems, such as the spectacular two-storey aviary and butterfly house, the canopies of which can be seen from a distance outside the building. This was a surprise last minute booking and are we ever happy we did it. We saw animals that we’d never seen before like a platypus. and lots of nocturnal creatures. One huge bonus…, we got to take photos with (not cuddling) a koala. We were only a few feet away. The caregiver, Jess, answered all of questions and took over a dozen photos. What a great few hours. Highly recommend. The brochure recommended one hour but we took longer.
Great for adults and kids! Wonderful location and staff! Very knowledgeable! We went closer to closing time and the koalas were more active!
Save your time and money and visit the zoo instead. A few good exhibits, but, lots of empty space between exhibits. Perfect for someone who wishes to stay in the local area and get a glimpse of the native animals.
We bought the package with two attractions and Wild Life was one of them. It’s a small place right in Darling Harbour, perfect for not leaving Australia without having koalas and kangaroos.
We had a fabulous morning session at this zoo at Darling Harbour. We booked the koala breakfast tour, where our small group was taken around the zoo animals before public opening time. Elenie, our tour guide was fantastic and knowledgeable on all the animals at the zoo. Her commentary was very informative and made our visit memorable. We were are to get very close to kangaroos and koalas. It was wonderful to see the koalas having breakfast as we ate our hot buffet breakfast as well. Definitely recommend if you want to see some great Australian animals in Sydney city.
Excellent, loved it all especially the Koalas, crocodiles and kangaroos. 🦘 The admission fee was reasonable, it was relatively quiet, we stayed just over an hour.
Really wonderful to see all the animals up close. Also less than 2 minute walk to Hop-on Hop- off bus stop
It was amazing we loved it! The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable.
It was really nice having my picture with a koala all the zookeepers were very nice to us I recommend this for families with young kids
I bought the tickets on line (2 experiences) which was a bargain. Then it gave me a discounted price for a photo with a Koala. The Zoo with only Native Australian animals and lizards was huge surprise being so close to Darling Harbour - we didn't think it would be any good! It was amazing the animals were well cared for the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the animals, can't wait to see the Aquarium which we have 60 days from the entry of the first attraction to use! Only problem there is no parking, its hard to get to by public transport! Very well worth that inconvenience! Thoroughly recommend the Wild Life Park.
