It's not a quick experience (need to drive slow), but well worth the time. Go when feeding if possible!
Great value here vs at the venue. These tickets basically gave us admission to the gator park free with Safari admission. Seeing the animals up close (even if they were only prey animals, no predators) is such a different experience than seeing them at a zoo. It was so nice to be in our own vehicle with AC on a hot summer day. The gator park had so many interesting animals and we saw gators going after raw chicken up close at the gator show. It was so worth visiting!! Highly recommend!
Nice to see animals closer than you can in a zoo. You can feed the giraffe at the entrance for $5.00. My grandson loved that. Employees are very nice.
Alot of animals to see. Nice place and easy to find. Nice place to take the family or a partner. Giraffe and ostrich was cool.
ACTUALLY AMAZING!!! The cost for our VIP Safari was very worth it. It came with a private tour with close up encounters with the wildlife, food, slushy, giraffe feeding, walkthrough of all the enclosures, photo with a gator, and you can go through the drive through safari again on your own if you have time. The park is so beautiful and the natural wetlands are incredible! The animals all looked very well cared for with proper enclosures and stimulation. We went on a Wednesday and it was perfect, not crowded. The staff were friendly and our guide was lovely. She and I bonded about our dream to work on a preservation/conservation. Honestly a really great place for everyone. I was worried it was going to be your kind of average “meh” animal place. NOT AT ALL! Thank you for staying true to your mission and doing an amazing job!
Make sure you wear insect repellant as partner was bitten a couple of times. Well worth the visit. Lots to see and opportunities to pull over to take a picture (from inside your car) then the gator park which you walk around, very good. Get some gator food to feed them, fun to do.
This was an amazing experience! The amount of animals, along with the giraffe feed was incredible. Also, their customer service was unmatched. It’s worth a visit.
As part of our work trip to Florida last year, we visited Wild Florida’s Gator Park, which is home to more than 200 native and exotic animals, including sloths, zebras and of course the magnificent Florida Alligators. We had the chance to experience an incredible airboat adventure through the wetlands in search of Florida’s wildlife including alligators in their natural habitat while enjoying breath-taking scenery. The ultimate airboat thrill took us into the beautiful 100,000 acres of protected swamps, marshes and rivers. As we sat back, relaxed and let the sounds and sights of nature surround us as we looked out the gators, birds, eagles and plants that make up the stunning wetlands, we were attacked by a swarm of flies! Not sure how we didn't jump in the water to escape from the fly attack! The airboat tour also includes free admission to Wild Florida’s fantastic Gator Park where the guests can enjoy the hands-on alligator demonstration and the 500 ft. sightseeing dock where you are sure to spot some huge Floridian alligators. The Gator Park is home to more than 200 native and exotic animals, such as sloths, zebras, turkey, watusi, zedonk, deer, water buffalo, wild boar, and much more! From feeding and learning about baby animals at the petting zoo to exploring the fantastic Hawk Swamp boardwalk, there’s something for every member of the family at Wild Florida. • Advanced reservations required. • Children aged 2 and under are FREE of charge. • Life jackets and ear protection for each guest are provided if required. • Unfortunately, the airboats are not wheelchair accessible.
We had a fantastic time at Wild Florida and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Florida who wants a break from the Disney parks. It was just over an hour drive from the hotel we were staying at in Orlando and there was plenty to see and do throughout the day. We really enjoyed watching the gator show, which was both entertaining and informative, and it was great seeing all the different animals around the park. One of the highlights for my children was the Capybara experience. They absolutely loved getting up close and feeding them. As a family, we also took the 30-minute airboat ride. You get out onto the water and see the natural surroundings and wildlife. the 30-minute tour seemeed like a good amount of time as I feel anything beyond this would just become boring. Overall, Wild Florida offered a fun and memorable family day out. It was a great change of pace from the busy theme parks and gave us the chance to experience another side of Florida.
The safari was not what I expected it to be for $35, very very very disappointed. This should be FREE! As a family of 15+ no one was happy and to top it off not a lot of animals or they weren't out ,where is the 150 animals? The employees were GREAT!! I EXPECTED MORE FOR $35 AND $5 MORE TO FEED AN GIRAFFE.....I'LL PAST HOWEVER DID LET THE 6 KIDS PARTICIPATE. I would not suggest this !! Another thing another $37 each to do the Airboat for 9 people, $333 (I did it) but just the safari and air boat to go in the swamp a total of $1000 (very close) short a couple of dollars. Will not recommend to anyone!!
