Wicklow Mountains Horse Trekking

Once more we had a great experience! Ray, Lisa and Hannah were great hosts! We were a group of 10 of different riding abilities and confidence, everybody had a great time, all place has great views and the horses are very well trained. Thank you and we’ll be back again!

It had rained all day, the rest of the group had just mounted up a few minutes earlier during a break in the rain and had taken shelter under some trees. I had to mount up in pouring rain and was then supposed to be led to the group, there was no briefing at all. The horse obviously did not like that at all and refused to move. The young guide could not handle it, so I decided to dismount. In the end, I wasted 75€ and 4 hours of travel time. Instead of simply waiting 5 minutes, because then the sun came out again, they must know that. The directions were also useless because the shed is located somewhere in the meadows and no location was provided.

Glorious ride through the vibrant green countryside! Exhilarating! My horse was top notch! Everyone at Hollywood horse and pony trekking is so friendly and professional! Cannot wait to return!

I cannot say enough of this extrodinary experience. God blessed with sunshine amd slight breeze. Trail guide Ray was gregarious and informative. Horses were healtht and well trained. Landscape was beautiful with Mountain ranges, cattle and sheep on the hillside, trekking through field forest and lakeside. Well worth the price and experience. My 12-year old son and I had a great time! He was nervous so the guide kept his horse on a lead. My son said it was his favorite part of our trip! The horses are well behaved. The guides were great! It was a great way to see the beautiful countryside outside a car. We highly recommend!!

Absolutely amazing experience! Ray was an incredible host and went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. He was so accommodating and understanding, especially when we were running a little late. The horses were well cared for, the scenery was beautiful, and the entire experience felt personal and welcoming. One of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. Thank you, Ray, for such a memorable day—we can’t recommend this enough! The visit was well worth the money (90 euro) and lasted around 1.5 hours.

A great experience and as a first time rider we felt very safe and comfortable. There were two girls that worked there that were extremely nice and very informative. There was a man that seemed to be the owner. He was very fun and even helped us plan some excursions afterwards. Overall experience was 10/10

It was amazing experience, extremely well organised. Horses were trained very well and placid even for beginners. Lovely trail great team, even with the rain it was great experience. Cannot say enough. Tried many places before but this one was 100% the best. Thank you !

My daughter wanted to give a billion stars! We both loved it, but she didn’t want to leave. Ray and Hannah were fantastic! We will probably be back again if my daughter has anything to do with it!
