We loved our day with Geoff! He is a long time resident of Anchorage, not a seasonal employee, which I prefer for a tour guide. He even added a couple of extra stops to shave an hour off our expected 4 hour wait time at the airport. There was definately more walking and hiking than I expected for a bus tour. I checked my watch as he was dropping us at the airport, and I already had 6 miles in for the day. We even ended up seeing some wild moose and bears along some of our stops, in addition to the animals we saw at the conservatory. We didn't see much at the bird sanctuary, but the waterfall trek was amazing and beautiful, and worth the slightly strenous hike up. I would suggest wearing waterproof hiking shoes on this tour. We were on the tour with our son and DIL and they thoroughly enjoyed the day too. Also, we stopped at a brewery with food trucks for lunch, which was actually quite lovely. There were Celiacs and vegetarians in our group and there were food options for everyone. I would definately recommend this tour. It made the last day of our trip one of our best!
There were several interesting sights to see, and the driver was very good about pointing things out and being patient when viewing things.

Immaculate service from beginning to end. Daniel caught us at the ship landing at Whittier, spent the whole day with us, explaining every detail of this beautiful place that is Alaska. You've shown a lot of knowledge on the subject. Punctual in the ship pickup time, if unfolded satisfy our travel needs. Completely private tour for our group. Easy access to contact via phone and email. I highly recommend. When we get back to Alaska, we'll do all the tours with this agency.
Geoff was an outstanding tour guide! I booked this for a group of 7 people ages 15-76 simply as a means to use up a day getting from Whittier to Anchorage, but it was so much more than that. Geoff is a native to the area and incredibly knowledgeable. He took us to all the advertised places plus a bunch of local hidden gems. He provided a tour that was far beyond what was advertised. He listened to what we were looking for and curated a great itinerary. I highly recommend hiring Geoff to get you from the cruise terminal to the airport (or anywhere else in Anchorage)!
Geoff was an amazing tour guide! We went everywhere that was advertised plus many other local gems. As a native to the area, he was very knowledgeable and listened to his guests to try and curate a personal experience for us all. I booked it as a means to an end as we needed some way to get from Whittier to Anchorage, but it ended up being so much more. I highly recommend this tour and tour guide!
We needed transportation from the Cruise dock in Whittier to Anchorage and decided to book this tour. It got us to where we needed to go, but we got to see a great variety of sights in Alaska on the way! We had a great guide (Taylor) who was a lot of fun and very accommodating. It was a fun day overall.
Hand awesome trip with Geoff and his son. He was very knowledgeable about the area. Made sure we got to see all the best sites, plus more. I had the best time and would highly recommend it. If you do this tour specially ask for your driver to be Geoff!!!
A fabulous 7 hour trip after getting off from the cruise ship at Whittier last Monday. Kevin was a great driver guide who took us to the breathtaking places on the way before dropping us at the anchorage airport. He graciously answered all my questions about the history too and then, pictures say a thousand words...
