White Villages and Ronda Day Trip from Seville
Description
We start from Seville, to the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park in the province of Cádiz, where one of the most rainy places in the entire Iberian Peninsula is concentrated. Our first destination will be Zahara de la Sierra; In this beautiful white town we will have a short space of time to walk through its streets, and admire the nearby towns of the Sierra We continue towards Setenil de las Bodegas, where we will admire its houses carved into the rock, enjoy its wines and appreciate its rich gastronomy . Our last destination is the majestic Ronda, of Celtic origin and also considered one of the oldest cities in the West. We will walk on foot the most emblematic places; the Alameda del Tajo, the Plaza de Toros, and the Puente Nuevo. We will also have enough time to continue seeing its monuments, its commercial area, and choose the most suitable place to enjoy a pleasant lunch in the many bars and restaurants it offers us.

It is a fortress type of those of the environment and time, but instead of being located at an elevation of the land, it is in a trough, because its mission was to defend the water spring of the source of the Aguzaderas or the Abuzadera, and not to control the territory. We continue in the Province of Cádiz, to see the curiosities of this municipality that is excavated in the rock, and that as before maintains its customs and traditions. We will observe the functions that lime has had, for years, and optionally we have the possibility to see a cave house, after the guided tour.
Already in Ronda, in the Province of Malaga, we will take a guided tour with our official guide, who will give us the explanations of the places that we are going to see, the Alameda Park, El Tajo, Miradores, Plaza de Toros, Arab neighborhood. If the client wishes and is in physical condition, he can descend to the Tajo itself to take pictures of extraordinary beauty.

Due to traffic restrictions that the city has for driving. It will be the company who determines the choice of collection points and not the client. The closest place to the accommodation is always offered, on some occasions it may coincide with the accommodation itself and on other occasions it will be decided by the company, since it knows the city and its streets. Those hotels that are located more than 6 km from the city center may have a surcharge of 10 euros per reservation that will be paid directly to the driver-guide.

We have a lovely day, the guides Drill and Martina and Manuel our driver were a great team, we travel as a family and it is very important to us that all of our needs are met during these trips. Everyone had a good time. Drill was very attentive to my mother in law.

Luis is great. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything from the regional history to oliver oil production. The stop at each location was sufficient for us the explore and the communication was excellent.

We loved this tour! We were in very comfortable and clean vans, our driver Carlos provided background on sights as we drove. The countryside was beautiful and the travel time went quickly. The white villages and Ronda were great places to visit. The only thing we didn't know ahead of time was that there was a 10-12 Euro fee to go down to the bottom in Ronda, which of course is where you get the best photos. And I the believe another fee to cross one of the bridges. I want to say rip off on these fees as they seem excessive to me. Otherwise we loved this experience.

Great trip, the scenic drive kept the hours in the van interesting. Luis was a fantastic guide. We loved Ronda but an extra half hour or hour would have given us a chance to grab a sit down lunch. So much to see there!

Good tour with lots of info. At the 1. Stop in Zahara we wanted to have some breakfast, unfortunately nothing was open yet.

This was a great trip - many thanks to Luis for making it so. First we were a jet lagged family concerned about coffee before our 7:45am pick up, and we were 7 minutes late to the meeting point. Luis waited, and then at our first White Village spot, he recommended a beautiful hotel for cafe con leche. He also stopped several times at beautiful photo spots. At our second village, Sentinel, he gave us a brief tour and then let us explore. And then fabulous Ronda - just exquisite! My only regret is that we didn’t have a weekend there for more exploring. I highly recommend this tour and Luis as your guide. He is kind, patient and very knowledgeable about Seville, the White Villages and Ronda. A+!
