Where Two Seas Meet: Arch Discovery & Free Time at Playa del Amor

Took the water taxi to lovers beach, very small but I recommend to do the tour of arch and drop of at beach for 2 hours.

Great little boat tour at a fraction of the price the cruise ship wanted. The guide got us amazing photos and was very agreeable to our requests.

It was wonderful & refreshing , especially the tour guy & Medano beach 🏖️ is so clean & the sand bar omg go get a massage

They did everything to make sure I was safe and happy and having a good time. They even helped and took pictures, which was so cool.

Our boat Captain was amazing and funny! He took us by a lot of beautiful landmarks, beaches and was very informative. He then dropped us off at private beach for an hour! My family and I had a wonderful time!

First, the views are amazing and worthwhile. We were able to get a taxi from our hotel to the dock and found the tour operator very easily. They were great at communicating prior to the tour - I let them know we would be a couple of minutes late and they assured me they would wait for us, which they did. Glass bottom is laughable - it’s a tiny strip of glass in the middle of the boat, but fine. Only my family and another couple, which was nice. Asked us if we were planning on swimming on the beach, I said yes. He asked which and I said either Lovers or Divorce and he said he didn’t recommend it - unsafe because nothing separating people from boats. I let it go until I could see the options. He brought us out, explained the major formations and landmarks to see, allowed us time to take pictures. All was great until that part of the tour was over and it was time to decide what beach to swim on. I said definitely Lover’s beach after seeing the options and he flat out refused me, saying it was too dangerous. Mind you there were plenty of other boats dropping people off at that beach to swim. He takes us to another beach which was meh. Immediately were helped off by 2 locals who put out their hats asking for tips with some sob story about not getting paid by the government. They offer us an umbrella and drinks, for a fee, both os which we decline. We just wanted to swim and enjoy the beach for the 1.5 hours we were going to be there. They hounded us again about an umbrella a little later. we again declined. They then asked for tips again before we left and before we got off the boat at the dock. Also, the beach we ended up at, had a small rope to mark off where boats drop people off, but no other rope separating swimming from boats going by. Total lie and we left feeling scammed out of getting to swim where we wanted and having the true experience we were hoping for all so he could drop us at the beach where his buddies were to get more money and tips. So, overall, glad we went and would go again but I would choose a more reputable company next time that actually listens to what the customer would like and isn’t just looking for a way to force someone to give up more money.

Great view of the arch and rock formations. The water was insanely wild and beautiful. Victor was our captain and he was very nice. Lover’s Beach wasn’t accessible due to weather but that’s just Mother Nature. Victor dropped us off at another beach and came back to pick us up later. Glad we purchased this tour.

Not the easiest place to find. I would suggest you go in the main entrance (by the surfboards) and take a right and it’s not too far away. Our maps app took us to the other side of the marina. As for the boat ride, it was fine. We were not allowed to be left on the beach (for ours and the drivers own safety as the water was too rough and not the tour companies fault). Our boat driver was funny and knowledgeable and offered to drop us off at a public beach to make up for the inconvenience but we decided to pass. Overall it was a great experience.

Crew was very generous and kind, explained everything very well and told us all the details. Captain was very skilled and took us safely around, very neat message.

Our guide was great! He took us around to the arch, Lovers beach, Divorce beach, and more. We were able to stay at Lover's Beach for sometime. Also we saw sea lions and pelicans!
