1st driver gave little info except his opinions. Political topics should not be part of tour. He was asleep every time we came back to bus. We had to swap drivers and buses, which is not discussed in the itinerary. Marco wasn't prepared. He bought tickets last minute hoping we would be allowed early entrance and not the case. We had to rush through because he asked us to meet him several times at house line to try to push through. These tickets should have been purchased ahead of the excursion. Very little info given. No snack as listed. Bottle of water. Shocks on van were broken and every bump sent you to ceiling if seatbelt not in place.
Great little tour, Marco did a great job. Very informative!

As a small group tour you could interact with Jared, the tour guide and driver, very easily to answer any questions and he was very flexible with time needed to explore and walk at different points of interest. Jared was full of knowledge about DC. In addition to the usual sites he told us about unexpected or hidden gems. One of those included a Japanese Pagoda gifted from Japan along the Tidal Basin near the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial.

The tour guide did his best to keep us on the schedule, but protests and street closures really hampered our experience. We were unable to see a few things on our itinerary but the guide was able to offer some good alternatives. The tour was great. Just be sure to check and see who is upset that week before trying to be a tourist. They will ruin it for you.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are glad to hear that overall you enjoyed the tour and that your guide did his best to keep things on track despite the unexpected challenges. We understand that the protests and street closures affected your experience, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. As you noted, due to the road closures, we were unable to visit the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial and the Roosevelt Memorial as originally planned. In response, your guide arranged an alternative stop at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum to ensure you still had a meaningful experience. We truly appreciate your understanding and patience in this situation. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you on another tour in the future when conditions allow for a smoother experience.
