Itinerary
1944 was a terrifying year for Warsaw. With its magnificent historical tenements, state-of-the-art sewage system, rapid growth, style and courtesy, this beautiful city, a real social, architectural and religious melting pot used to be called „The Pearl of the North”. This marvelous city was demolished almost to the last building and the last brick. A generation of people who were not even 20, the future of the country, perished. What was it that pushed Poles to rise? Was not the price for potential freedom won in battle too high? The Warsaw Rising Museum is not a typical museum. It is more of a time machine that takes its visitors back to 1944. The multimedia exhibition shows the fight and daily lives of the rising participants juxtaposed with the horrors of the occupation, the complicated international situation, the communist terror after the war and the fate of the participants in that new situation.

The Warsaw Revolt Museum is a missed visit. Although well structured, the content is not so interesting for the general visitor, being more attractive only for those who have a specific interest in the military and bellicose part of history. This is not a mandatory visit, especially considering that Warsaw offers other points and more relevant museums.
We visited this museum recently. Historically, that's what we like the most. Lots of information, very well presented. I suggest 2 hours to see the museum
Impressive to see in pictures, the evil of some who call themselves human. It is very well explained in all possible languages. The "tests" well dosed. It is not cheap, but sufficiently equipped with information.
Absolutely not to be missed, very well organized with the Italian Audio Guide, you retrace in detail the history of Warsaw on World War II 40 Sloty Guide including
An excellent tour, fascinating museum, very well presented. You need a couple of hours to explore this museum and get the most from it. Our guide was brilliant, enjoyable company
It was a good looking museum. Spent there 3 hours. Our guide was nice. Not the best museum but some interesting things to see there.
A very informative museum with many photos from the Warsaw Ghetto. I never knew so many inhabitants participated in the movement to liberate the city. What a testament to the valiant and courageous Poles.
Our guide/driver never showed up and I would like a refund. I called the local tour operator several times and they never answered their phone.
Thank you for the wealth of information and the reconstruction work. This museum is a must. Ask at the entrance to be able to follow the visit with the audio guide and the room map.
I you are using a taxi to get to the museum please be advised that there is no taxi rank there. So when you finish your tour you will need to phone for a taxi.
