Itinerary
Less than 10 kilometers from the center of Warsaw, there is the magnificent The Royal Palace of King Jan III Sobieski. The origins of the palace date back to 1677, although in time it became a magnificent villa surrounded by phantasmal gardens because subsequent owners expanded the palace. Today, the Palace is a work of art, fantastic gardens, and sculptures in the park, as well as magnificent buildings and monuments. The residence has kept traces of former residents, their interests and customs, as well as a collection of artworks that they gathered here. A museum is a place of remembrance about events that are part of the history of Warsaw. Traveling to this amazing place allows us to touch what is important in our tradition and what is part of the common European culture. In the winter, mapping shows take place on the buildings – in the summer concerts and interesting temporary exhibitions.
A remarkable place, definitely a must-see for all the people visiting the Polish capital. The Old Town consists of the city square, surrounded by characteristic tenements, and a centrally placed fountain with a sculpture of a Siren, the city symbol, without which the square would be hard to imagine. Other elements of the Old Town are the Castle Square with the Royal Castle next to it and the Sigismund’s Column. Not far from the Old Town one can find the Pilsudski Square and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. A series of streets called the Royal Route begins from the Old Town. The Royal Route is the most prominent artery of the city, connecting two former royal residences. There are numerous atmospheric cafes, restaurants and art galleries in the Old Town
A magnificently beautiful baroque-classicist royal castle located at the Warsaw Castle Square. Initially, it was the residence of Mazovian princes and from the 16th c. on – the seat of the First Polish Republic’s ruling bodies: the King and the Sejm (the lower and upper houses of the parliament). In the 20s and 30s of the 20th c. it was the seat of the Chief of State and the residence of the President of the Republic of Poland. While visiting the Warsaw Royal Castle one can see e.g. the royal chambers built for king Stanisław August Poniatowski, as well as the Sejm chambers. The most outstanding ones are the Throne Room decorated with red velvet and gold, the Knight Room and the Ballroom with the biggest plafond in Poland. Among the permanent exhibitions are: the Paintings Gallery, the Apartment of Prince Joseph in the Tin-Roofed Palace and the multimedia exhibition „The destruction and rebuilding of the Castle”.

The tour is very informative and you will visit a most beautiful castle which is like a museum and then walk through the old town to visit the Royal Palace. Our guide Tomas was very knowledgelable and made it very interesting.
Amazing tour that was because of our tour guide Tomas….a knowledgeable, passionate and upbeat guy who taught us so much more than we ever would have learned going by ourselves !!! Their tour bus was broke down so Tomas took us in a smaller vehicle and he was able to give us more history and information in the car ride to the castle. Overall highly recommended!!!
Excellent guide very knowledgeable. I have to leave more words to keep the bot happy And still it is not enough.
Great sites to visit! The guide was just a driver without much information about the city or history. Usually enjoy tour guides
Comprehensive and educational. Attentive guide and very objective in descriptions and historical references. Very personalized experience.
Thomas was wonderful. He showed us around the city and answered every questions. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. What a great day we had seeing ALL the sites. I highly recommend this tour!!! Five stars Thomas!!!
Amazing! Warsaw was the last stop on our 2wk trip and wanted to make the most of it! This tour and our guide Tomas was fabulous! Simple and easy pickup at our hotel. He knew every place to point out and took us all around the city. The historical background shared throughout the tour was by far the best we have ever had across all of the past tours/trips! Of all the tours from trip advisor and Viator this was by far the best. Tomas guided us through the old royal route, palace, and Park Łazienki Królewskie! At the end of the tour he gave us some recommendations and gave advice on how to steer clear of a protest that was taking place that afternoon. Tomas was amazing and top notch. Highly recommend!
We had a private tour which allowed us great one one dialogue with guide Thomas. He shared with us his family’s experience with the occupation. His knowledge of the palace as well as old town and castle was invaluable. Highly recommend!
