This was a fun look at behind the scenes of the film and TV process. Go on a weekday if you want to see real crews working (but that might limit where you get to go) or go on a Sunday or a quieter but more access tour. The friends exhibit (aka. sofa) is fairly well controlled but at least they will take a picture with your own camera. Besides the actual tour there is also plenty to explore yourself and interesting exhibits. There is a option to create a short action clip with a green screen riding a range of vehicles, these videos and photos are horribly over priced.
My wife and I went on the mid-level tour in August 2026 and we were surprised how much we enjoyed it. Everything is expensive nowadays, and this tour is no exception, but this is something I would probably do again, especially with another couple who has never experienced it. Our tour guide Dustin was very knowledgeable, had a dry sense of humor, and kept the tour moving at a good pace. We got to see a lot of different things, and I learned a little bit on the way as well. Lunch was included with our tour and thank God, because it’s quite expensive at the Friends café. You get an hour on the tour to have lunch in there, and are several options you can take. There’s plenty of friends merchandise you can purchase at that point on the tour. They also have one of the actual couches used in the Friends series on the café set and they allow you to take a picture of it and of course you get a paid photo option as well. One of the highlights for me is when you get to see the set pieces of Big Bang theory and you get to sit in Sheldon spot and knock on Penny’s door. There is of course, another paid photo op to do both, which they will allow you to take one with your camera as well. The tour actually goes by very fast and is something I would recommend. You just have to face the fact that everything nowadays is expensive and there’s no other way around it.
We had the best time on this tour! We had an amazing tour guide. It’s worth the money and something you should do in Cali.
I want to start by saying that our guide did an excellent job. They were knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely friendly, and they made the best of the experience. Unfortunately, despite the guide’s efforts, I did not feel the tour itself was worth the price. Much of what we saw consisted of studio buildings that looked very similar from the outside, making it difficult to connect them to the movies and TV shows they were associated with. We also entered one building that had a strong musty odor, possibly from mold or poor ventilation, which was unpleasant. One suggestion that could significantly improve the experience would be to display photos or short video clips on the screens inside the tour vehicle while the guide is explaining each filming location. Seeing the actual scenes alongside the locations would make it much easier for guests to appreciate what they’re looking at. I also felt that the tour placed a disproportionate emphasis on Friends and The Big Bang Theory. While those are iconic shows, it gave the impression that they were the primary focus of the studio, which overshadowed the many other films and productions Warner Bros. has created. It also seemed to align with the large amount of merchandise available for purchase at the end of the tour. Speaking of the end of the tour, I was surprised by the cost of the souvenir photos and videos, which I felt were excessively expensive. Overall, I would not recommend this tour, and I would not choose to do it again. My biggest recommendation would be to begin the experience in the theater by showing memorable scenes from movies and TV shows alongside maps or visuals of the filming locations. Then, once guests are familiar with what they’re about to see, continue with the studio tour. I believe this simple change would create a much more immersive and memorable experience.
Fabulous day from go to whoa. Our guide was amazing ❤️
Our family had a terrific time on the tour! Alejandro was a wonderful tour guide. He was personable, funny and incredibly knowledgeable. We did the Deluxe Tour and it did not disappoint. We highly recommend this experience.
Was very disappointed. I'm a fan of The Big Bang and there wasn't much to see and no items to purchase
It was a great tour We enjoyed a lot as a family with kids.
Great tour, enjoyed our day, saw some cool lots like where big shows were filmed , felt cool to see everything in real life that I’ve seen in movies
It was certainly the best lot tour we've been on. Great value as well. Plan ahead for the photo and green screen opportunities on the experience.
