Our guides are all locals of Dubrovnik and they will add their personal touch to the tour with their own unique style and presentation. It's a small-group tour - there will never be more than eight guests per one guide so that there is a nice, personable feel to the tour where the group can really connect with the guide and fully immerse in this experience. Oh, did we mention the amazing views of the Old town...?

This is what it's all about - we'll take you on a walk on top and all the way around the city walls. Two hours packed with beautiful views and interesting historical anecdotes!
The moment we climb up the walls we will see the mighty Revelin fortress. Your guide will tell you about its construction and how it served the city of Dubrovnik in difficult times.
Our guide will take you up Minčeta tower, the highest point of the walls, for breathtaking views of the Old Town. You will learn about the importance of Minčeta in the defense of Dubrovnik throughout the history.
One of the first casemated forts in all of Europe, builty by the great Florentine architect Michelozzi.
We will be atop the fortress of St. John on this tour, overlooking the old harbour. You will hear about its history and enjoy the views of Lokrum island and the old quarantine.
We will talk about the famous Lovrijenac fort, the strongest and the most impressive. Your guide will share with you interesting details about the thickness of the walls and some intriguing words in Latin... We remind you to keep the tickets for the city walls as they're also good for this fort, which you can visit on your own.

Marko was an amazing tour guide! He was so informative about the history of Dubrovnik, the culture and his own experiences of being a lifelong resident of the Old Town. He made it really fun by adding a competitive aspect among our group of 6. He had a great sense of humor. We were totally engaged and he was able to answer any question we threw at him. We all enjoyed the tour thoroughly! We also really liked exploring the southern part of the City Walls on our own and at our own pace. We did the Dubrovnik Walls walk with our tour guide Marko. In our two weeks in Croatia, it was the single best tour we did and Marko was an A++ quality guide. The zest and passion with which he conveyed the history had all four of us (19, 22, 54, 55) thoroughly engaged from start to finish. I cannot recommend this tour enough, same for Marko as a guide. I would do it earlier in the day when the weather is cooler and the crowds are sparse and then enjoy a drink at one of the two buza bars on the south wall where you enjoy beautiful views and the odd cliff diver.

Marko was a wonderful local guide. He interspersed interesting historical facts while also giving us an idea of what it's like to be a resident of the old city.
