Ruta is truly exceptional. We loved this tour so much. We learned a great deal and had a wonderful time!
This well planned tour with an excellent guide, took us to the highlights of the old town. The snack break was unexpected and delightful.
Vilius has great knowledge on Lithuanian history. His awesome taster of ancient pagan ritual singin went beyond expectations. Also his searching for shade by every stop on a very hot day was much appreciated. The snacks on the end of the tour were not very expectational for a baltic sea regional tourist but visitors from further away seem to like them. Vilius could have been more vigilant when we were crossing busy streets. He just walked in front not detecting at all if last persons could cross safely. Also he answered the questions on the russian minority kind of briefly. Insted he devoted a lot of time eg to jewish diaspora. All in all we were pleasantly surprised by the tour, and Vilius ability to tell about the hisrory, and fell it was more than worth for money paid.
A brilliant 2.5 hrs walking tour with leva, who was extremely knowledgeable with a great sense of humour! The tour gave us a very good overview of Vilnius old town. The snack stop, where we had the opportunity to sample local delicacies, was both tasty and interesting. At the end of the tour leva also gave us some good recommendations as to additional places and restaurants to visit. Would highly recommend a tour with leva.
Good for first time thanks you
Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable.
A great introduction to Lithuanian history, its founding, and Vilnius specifically. The walk itself was well-paced, and I appreciated that the tour didn’t loop back to the starting point — it meant we naturally continued exploring on our way back. Our guide also pointed us toward a few nearby sights to check out after the tour ended, which was a thoughtful touch. The food tasting was a highlight — good new and interesting treats to try. The only thing I’d have loved was a few more stops along the way for additional tastings, but that’s a minor note. Overall, a really enjoyable experience given the time we had. Would recommend!
The guide truly makes the difference in these city walks and Arminas (really sorry...but not spelled correctly) was likely the best city walking tour guide i have ever experienced....and I've had many. He's very knowledgeable and informative and quite animated and funny. Tons of fun and highly recommended.
A fun way to explore the city! You have a first impression of the area and get interesting information about what you can do next days (museums, restaurants, sights,...). The snack-stop was quite busy in a small room. But definitely recommended, especially with the guide I had (but I forgot her name ... something from Zilma or something?)
Our guide Sarunas was extremely knowledgeable and gave us an excellent walking tour including history and some interesting side notes. The tour went at a very nice pace. We did not feel rushed and he even spent extra time with us to give us some more details about the various stops along the tour. He interacted with all of the members of our group and was extremely friendly.
