Piotr was a fantastic tour guide, explaining the history of all the foods we tried as well as the history of the city. While it's not a "full lunch", expect to eat a lot so you don't need to eat anything ahead of time. We tried pierogis, a bagel/ pretzel like bread, Krakow Street "pizza" and finished with some sweets. A really great tour
This was an excellent food tasting tour in Kraków and fantastic value for money. The meeting point was easy to find; just outside St Mary’s Church where our local guide was holding a clearly marked “Street Food Tour” sign. We were part of a small group of six, which made the experience feel really personal and relaxed. Our guide, Mateusz was brilliant, friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable about both the food and local area. The tour lasted around two hours and included a great variety of traditional Polish treats. We sampled local favourites such as zapiekanka, pierogi, and even some local vodka. One of the highlights was visiting a local market, where we tried a range of authentic delicacies you wouldn’t normally find as a tourist. At just £50 for two people, this tour was fantastic value. As first-time visitors to Poland, this was easily one of the highlights of our trip. I would absolutely do it again! Thank you Mateusz 😀
Thank you for your fantastic and detailed feedback! We’re delighted you enjoyed the food tour and found it such great value. It’s wonderful to hear the small group made the experience more personal and that Mateusz made such a strong impression with his friendliness and knowledge. We’re glad you enjoyed the variety of traditional Polish food, especially local favorites like zapiekanka, pierogi, and the market visit—those authentic touches are what we aim for. It means a lot that this was one of the highlights of your trip! Thank you for your kind words and we hope to welcome you again for another delicious experience in Kraków! Best regards, Maciej
More food than expected so is definitely enough for lunch however we didn’t like all the food given to us. But of course that’s just down to personal likes. Anna was very knowledgable with good history of polish fox and the area. Great tour
This was a great tour. The guide had lots of interesting information and made the tour very enjoyable. The tour provided snack/ bite sizes of a variety of different Polish food. By the end of the tour we were quite full so you would not want a meal just before or after.
Pauline was a knowledgeable, engaging and friendly guide. The tour was interesting, provided lots of different things to taste, and was extremely good value for money.
We were lucky and were only a very small group of 4 people. Our guide Alicja was enchanting. So much joy and energy and love for Kraków and the great food. It was a good choice. Very entertaining.
Nice little food tour. Simple and straightforward. I really liked seeing the food market on the final stop of the tour
The guide tour was very knowledgeable , pleasant and food was great. However, the fact that it was Easter weekend it was difficult to meet with the guide. The directions were given to meet at the church, but it was a bit chaotic due to the blessings they were doing at the church. You couldn’t see the sign or know who the guide was. It would have helped if the had an umbrella or flag to identify them. Luckily, I had called them. Also, they had to improvise location where to eat I believe because of Eater celebration, which they should’ve known.
Great guide Damian who had plenty of knowledge about Krakow. Not a lot of walking involved so not too taxing. Recommended.
A great guide, Damian, for this tour, carrying on despite having a very rough voice and throat that day. Extremely educational about native Polish cuisine, and the food itself was excellent, and not just a couple of bites in quantity - you won't need lunch/dinner the day you take this tour, depending on the time. Damian also shared recommendations for places to get things that weren't on the tour. NOTE: bring or buy some water or something else to drink, as several of the food samples are quite salty and you will get quite thirsty by the end, especially if the weather is warm.
