A gorgeous experience through 3 brilliant wineries. Tasting first quality wines with welcoming & well unturned hosts. The lunch platter was excellent.
Great review and comments. Thank you for taking the time to share!
Graham did a wonderful job taking our group to the three wineries. He also provided some information on the Waipara area. Each winery had its own unique selection and tastings. My favorite was the first stop to George’s Wine, and Pepper the dog was a special highlight.
Thank you for your review - Pepper is always a highlight. So pleased you had a great day with Graham and wine!
Fantastic experience, from boutique wineries to larger establishments. Great sample of what NZ wineries have to offer.
Thank you for your review and so pleased you had a great time at our wineries. A great way to showcase what results Canterbury grapes can produce.
Jude gave us some great commentary on the way out of the city and learned about Christchurch. Visited 3 wineries and enjoyed a lot of wine. Special mention to torlesse wines who gave us a huge selection to taste. Bought 2 bottles to bring back to Australia. The lunch provided was a light platter and late in the day. So recommend you eat brunch before you start wine tasting. Definitely had a deep sleep on the way back to Christchurch
Great review with thanks. Sounds like you had a fabulous day with Jude who loves showcasing Canterbury. So pleased you enjoyed the wine experience.
It was a good tour, but I wondered if I could eat my lunch while tasting wine, and after tasting the whole thing. Note that you have to order wine for lunch.
Thank you. And yes you have to order your own drink for lunch as everyone has different tastes and wants.
Andrew was really good The lunch was a letdown not really a lunch more a nibble plate- disappointing Pick up drop off easy and bus was clean and comfortable
Thank you for your comments - we have fed your thoughts back to the lunch provider for their feedback and review. Your comments are noted. Pleased you had a great time with Andrew.
I thought it was too expensive for what we got. You couldn’t really say we got lunch. More like a snack. Disappointing
Thank you for your comments - sometimes a tour is perfect for one, and less perfect for another.
The tour was very easy to access and made for an enjoyable day. We were able to sit back and enjoy the experience, hassle free. Our driver was a good conversationalist with a variety of topics covered. The wineries were lovely with something unique to offer at each one. Thanks for a great and memorable experience.
Great review and comments. Thank you for taking the time to share.
Excellent. All the vinyards we went to were lovely. All had beautiful wines was hard to choose which ones to take home. Scotty was more then an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable about the area and the wines. I would highly recommend this tour if in Christchurch. Thank you
Thank you for your kind words of both Scotty and of the tour. It is a super popular and well worth doing.
Eight participants from Australia, Canada, India, the United States and Japan went to three wineries. All the wineries were lovely and we had a great day together, talking happily. I think this price is a pretty good deal, with five tastings at each winery and lunch included. My driver and guide Stephanie was also friendly and pleasant. You can enjoy it even if you join alone. I'm so glad I took part in this activity! I recommend it.
Thank you.
