Haylen was a great guide and we had an amazing time on this journey to the falls. Lunch was perfect and it was just the right length of time!
This experience was one of the highlights of our vacation in Kauai. The kayaking was fun; the hiking was strenuous; seeing and swimming at the waterfall was priceless. A fun activity! Our guide Eli was wonderful.
Fabulous adventure with ELI paddling up the Wailua River and hiking to Secret Falls. Absolutely beautiful! ELI was a excellent guide! Very knowledgeable of the river and nature. Also cared for the safety of our group. Would definitely recommend this adventure! THANKS ELI!
This excursion is a bit of work, but very much worth it. One way, involves 2.5 miles of paddling and then a 1 mile hike. Some of the trail has a 1 person wide boardwalk while some is dirt trail. It had rained multiple days in a row before we went so the dirt trail was extremely muddy. People with the wrong shoes ended up walking barefoot to get through the mud. We had our 10 and 13 year old girls and they did fine. The paddle, hike, and waterfall are all scenic. Definitely a good way to spend an afternoon.
This trip was great! Definitely on my list when I visit this island. Our guide was Eli and he was amazing. 5 stars for sure.
Hike was tough for older people Too cold to swim so missed part of adventure Very difficult to kayak back due to wind Older people should not do this
Cannon is a great tour guide, talked some history about the island and made sure everyone had a great time kayaking!
Halen was an excellent guide and kept me from falling on my butt more than once in the river and on the trail. Trail is definitely not easy, more like moderate
Yes, Haylen IS the Bomb. Mahalo for noticing and for the excellent review. Hope we see you again. :)
Had a great time- Haylen our guide took great care to make sure we all completed the hike- it was a bit muddy and water flowing- waterfall was amazing. Great day
Aloha Jill, Wailua is always a bit on the muddy side. But oh what a payoff. Uluwehi falls is beautiful. So happy you enjoyed your day with Haylen. See you next time.
Loved our experience! Halen was the best!!! She was very knowledgeable and helpful the whole time! Our group of people were awesome also.
